Who said that? I think the only thing we know about Thunder is that this version probably has a piano intro.

He's credited as a writer.

Omg I wanna listen to that as well!

To think we started this era completely in the dark, with the picsart selfies as the only aesthetic reference for an album which direction we had no idea of...
To this moment, with a clear and exciting vision mirrored not only by the several album covers to the already released songs...
I love Chemtrails but this era puts that one to shame.

It was co-written by Zach Dawes so he probably co-produced it as well and judging by the looks of everything he's touched (California, Thunder, Dealer, etc) I think it's gonna be a rock infused moment.

My best friend is a moderate fan of Lana (not hardcore like I am - but her favorite Lana album is Honeymoon!) and even she said Lana's in a completely different level than anyone working in the music industry right now. Watch the girlies adopt the rock-ish sonority in a couple years.

I confess I'm a little worried on whether the Interlude fits the general mood of the album. Having that fire ass trap beat in the midst of emotional ballads and soft rock songs might throw some people off. I need to know how Black Bathing Suit sounds like... like what even can follow that?

lustforlife said there are more rock inspired moments on the album... which songs do we think are gonna fit that mold? I'm claiming Beautiful!

poor Clayton knows he's an interlude. bless.
HAHAHAHAHAHA.
I wonder if they’re still together or not. I’d say no which means he’s an attention seeker through and through.
I’m gonna take a guess and say The Trio is dedicated to the relationship between her, Chuck and Charlie. They grew up together through all the mess and the emotional abuse and forged a bond that is so clearly important to her. That’s why it was placed in the beginning of the album!

SpoilerMe and my best friend have been playing Dealer on repeat for the past two hours. This is a masterpiece. A bit of TLSP, a bit of Bjork vocally speaking, a bit of Cigarettes After Sex…
But make no mistake, this is all Lana. She’s a musical genius.
Did someone already try the Dealer - Thunder - WW sequence? It’s fucking breathtaking.
-
-
Fuck. The alt covers. The tracklist. She’s coming for AOTY. What a time to be a Lana stan omg.
I’d say there’s not much to rework in Living Legend and Thunder has simple lyricism by her standards but it’s its stark simplicity that is so astounding.
Nectar of The Gods however needs a massive rework imo.
-
So everything lustforlife said was trolling? And everybody knew this but me?
I wouldn’t know how cruel the world was…
-
Not Lana making a grunge-y album.
I’m not ok. She did good going away from Jack for this one. It’s crystal clear she didn’t want the music for this project to be controlled/muted.

Just now, lustforlife said:Ummmmmm i think...Brooklyn Baby? But more grunge? Less awake
Fuck.
Jesus.
Thank you for that reply.
AOTY confirmed.

Arcadia is my least favorite song out of the three singles + Dealer + Thunder but to call it not particularly interesting production wise is… strange to say the least. The last time we were offered this richness in orchestration was back in Lust For Life.
