but it's also natural to build actual relationships w a few fans that she sees/interacts w often, regardless of whether those fans are just rich weirdos or not to lana, they might have actually become friends that she interacts with from time to time i ACTUALLY fucking love u

literally. she endured a lot and stayed on social media for quite some time despite the barrage of hate

undoubtedly! just the fact she has/had to experience that shit is what's troubling
-

dude it's the literal line of communication that we will miss. we know she's not dead wtf lol and don't mention lorde rn i can only deal w so much
-
oh of course, everything w her just has to be a marketing technique, that makes sense lol, not like she's a fully-fleshed human or anything
-
idk how some of u AREN'T moved by this. do u realise how much of a privilege it actually is to have access to someone like lana's instagram, a little peak behind the curtain? we were so lucky

it actually fucking sucks that it feels like she was def made to leave social media bc of how horrible the public's perception of her has been n how that's undoubtedly affected her. i think that's what's most saddening - if she wanted to leave social media just to vibe out like lorde did i feel like none of us would feel like this
-
i can't imagine what it's like to experience such a disconnect between how you see yourself and what your values are versus how the large majority of the public see you. must be extremely difficult to contend with that, and i'm sure it makes you unfairly question whether you are a good or bad person.
