I don't see this. Charlies camera work for Arcadia for example was a very good job.

I think a bundle of even excellent songs doesn't make a good album yet. It depends on how they are arranged and fit together.

I know it sounds bad but you can also say it has no real concept.

Seen from a further perspective the social media shutdown is a big, mature step, showing that she is more interested in making music than in self-portrayal. I think she's gaining a lot of respect for that.

Did you know, that she can still use her youtube community channel to pronounce news (and she has used it in the last days)?

SpoilerThe most thing I like on Dealer is not her screaming but how she sings the line "I check it, I wreck it, I turn it around" with her distinctive, cheeky voice

At least she is now on the spot in german main media, but her new song or album is nowhere mentioned ...

her last content is still available here (at least the photos):

She starts with "...we're deactivating our social media accounts...". So they were not managed by Lana only and it was maybe not only her decision.

Or maybe I’m reading way too into everything. Lol
I think she could be disappointed/sad because "Arcadia" performed not as well as expected in the charts.

In an interview with the Los Angeles Times in 2019 she said:
QuoteSomewhere in the back of my mind, I’ve been coordinating this concept covers album called “Pacific Blue.” It would be a very low-key thing, like acoustic Beach Boys stuff, Elvis, Chris Isaak. People usually think your career is over when you record a covers album or a Christmas album. But my musician friends and I are always playing covers. We could probably do that album in a week.

I think the Great American Songbook is meant, e.g. "Summertime" belongs to it.

I want to say that Arcadia is perfectly placed after Blue Banisters in this album. The first song slows down the sense of hearing, it's nearly like time is standing still, and after that you hear Arcadia more attentively and with a slower and more intense feeling.

I prefer videos directed by Lana herself like Arcadia more than with high budget.

After the final part of the Arcadia video everything is clear to me: she's moving to Mexico, becoming a drug dealer (we have the hints "Yayo", "Heroin", "Dealer", Mafiosiprincess), her new persona is a baddie with dark hair and sunglasses and she will make some sort of Latin/Trap music. *g*
