I don't think the photos are edited. The distortions are on different places, but she looks the same on both photos. Maybe it's just a distortion of the mirror or it comes from the iphone software (I've seen many such errors)?

There may be some fans in America who are into country music, but the rest of the world can't do anything with it at all. Currently people stream BTD and Summertime Sadness, but hardly anyone streams COTCC or BUS.

Ok, she should actually know that most of her fans don't like country music the way she does. But still, it's probably what she would like to do. A difficult situation.
