  1. she's very popular in Northern Europe and I think she should give at least one concert there, also in Eastern Europe
  2. Ocean Blvd, I think this is a pretty good song for a MV
  3. what also has to be appreciated is that she didn't really use the video to promote the album, it's an extra, a gift for all of us and she probably spent a lot of money on it
  4. I think the whole video was scripted and the 'bts' parts belong to the original concept. So there's always an intentional message behind every scene, and even when she's playing someone, she's expressing what she feels.
  5. well, it's professional, intentional and well done if people don't realize that, they just didn't pass the test
  6. anyone who complains about the 'bts' has failed the intelligence test
  7. how could the video cut it if they used an extended version of the song? I hope this version gets released on streaming
  8. perhaps they also represent everything superficial, which we strive for, but which doesn't really make us happy at the end
  9. 'Rockefeller' could also just be a synonym for a rich man
  10. but this is much better, maybe you need some time to get it
  11. because a polished music video about the broken Hollywood dream makes no sense
  12. whoever uploaded the first video shouldn't have linked to her old twitter, instagram and tumblr also, the sign up link doesn't work
  13. also interesting to watch how her mood deteriorates from scene to scene and her "rockefella/umbrella" looks in more and more skeptically or the many incidental details like the man dropping the film flap the video has multiple layers and it will probably take days or weeks to analyze everything properly
  14. I think they could stand for success or glamour, but there are certainly more possible answers.
  15. The music video somehow reflects her entire career. The rich old man represents the music industry, the diamond necklaces her success, which becomes more and more a burden. In the end she exchanges them for simple sugar necklaces and is happiest with them.
  16. now I need the extended version on Spotify
  17. The wait was more than worth it, her best video ever!
  18. I would say it has cohesive parts, with the longest from Kintsugi to Margaret. But all in all it's not cohesive, the last three songs and especially A&W can't be more different to the rest.
  19. and be honest, most of her album songs are better than DCMA and SOTB , so performance in single charts is irrelevant
  20. I think there are two types of artists. One has a few hits but weak albums, the other tries to produce good albums, means that as many songs as possible sound good there and none stands out exceptionally (to be a chart hit). Lana definitely belongs to the latter, if a song should end up in the Top100, it would probably be more of a coincidence.
