i want lana to pull a lorde and put a special code to a locked website if you purchase a physical form of ldr9. she can put demos, unleaked songs, photos, outtakes and just like a diary of her day on the website. she could even put some lizzy photos

yeah ik i don’t like that stan… they haven’t even listened to hope, change, wtwwaw because they seem like snoozefests. but i feel like he’s definetely going to work with lana again that’s why he got mad at them

But really I hope they do work together again some day.
but he wouldn’t get so defensive if he wasn’t going to work with lana again

wfwf is top 3 on bb for me

I’d love a new producer, but Jack and Lana have made some really stunning tracks in a short time frame (Venice Bitch, White Dress, COCC, etc.), so I’m pretty indifferent either way tbh.
It’s tough to say how it might sound for a handful of reasons. Of course it’s early, but we do know that Lana seems to have encouraged Jack to strip back the original production of Chemtrails for a more “authentic” feel. I almost wonder if she’ll continue with a similar, minimizing approach or if the bedrock of LDR9 is building off the “bombastic” tracks Jack mentioned
While “bombastic” tracks and Rob’s piano may not seem like super compatible concepts, it’s worth noting that having piano on a record is pretty broad—after all, she had Venice Bitch and hope on the same record. That being said, I wouldn’t be shocked if we heard something “ethereal” (to quote Rob lol) like the instrumental pieces featured in Violet or the Patent Leather Do-Over clip.
I have no idea what to expect, but I’m hoping these new tweets from Rob lead to news soon
i feel like we’re just going to get a sweet carolina sound album

shes working with the same people as nfr and cotcc+ rob, so i doubt we’ll see a change in production unless lana wants it to happen

36 minutes ago, Venice Peach said:The fact that Jack and Lana were working on 3 distinct "albums" at the same time gives me hope about a switch in sound for their next work together. I don't think the "bombastic" songs remain unreleased cause they weren't good enough, they just didn't fit anywhere on the recent albums. I guess it's a Dealer situation, it fits the chaotic nature of BB but imagine if it ended up on Chemtrails between Yosemite and Dance Till We Die
I also don't think we are getting a Jack-only album cause she probably started working on it just as BB was finished last summer so I expect at least some Drew songs (even though I hope for Rick and the alleged Emile x Mike Dean work)
la who am i to love feels like one of the bombastic songs
6 minutes ago, Umaniac said:I feel like she’s moving way too fast. I’d rather have her release a proper well thought album next year than to have another hurried up album like bb and cocc. To me Nfr felt like the last album that really achieved what it was going for and had a clear concept while cocc and bb was just going with the flow and that flow was really…random
i don’t think she is planning to release it soon, like whenever she mixes her albums she starts working on her next one. but i do think she should slow down a little bit and let her creative juices flow, but in exchange for waiting a long time we need a lot of leaks this year

By the way, thanks for the shooo-hoo-hoo-hoooz.
Masterpiece.
… i guess you could call it…. textbook

10 minutes ago, mlittle11 said:i think what’s been bothering me most about lana’s recent work is the lyrics. she truly missed the mark on a lot of songs specifically on chemtrails and bb… more so bb. its what stops me from listening to songs like bbs, violet, beautiful, yosemite, and so on. the lyrics truly make me cringe in some parts of those songs. so i guess the biggest change that i believe needs to happen is in lanas writing.
idk i feel like she’s putting in all of her writing effort into poetry

i hope she pulls a cotcc and adds like 1 or 2 outstanding songs from a previous era, but not a bb
Just now, the ocean said:i like to shit on jack for laughs but in all seriousness most of the stuff blame him for is probably lana’s fault
especially when he’s proven himself with melodrama, the taylor albums, masseduction, daddy’s home, the recent florence stuff, need i go on?
i make fun of him too
but honestly he’s done such good production on some projects

6 minutes ago, LifeOnMars said:I don’t really like the work he has done with Lana so far except for Sweet Carolina tbh. I know people don’t like Jack, but I don’t see how anything he produced is worse than WCE or Beautiful. The most interesting songs on Blue Banisters like Dealer, BBS, Thunder, and Text Book were not produced by him. My top pick if she had to work with a current producer right now would be Zachary Dawes too, as he contributed to all these songs.
jack did a good job producing most tracks on nfr, but i feel his production kind of got worst on solar power and cotcc. if he makes a comeback and lana starts experimenting more i think they’d make a great duo

unless Rob means “ethereal” like Titanic Rising, then by all means give me a LDR Titanic Rising album
i highly doubt thats what he means

i'm hoping that ldr9 is going to be different than cotcc and bb, but ik it will sound very similar

idk but whenever i’m stoned and listen to a lana song i can literally hear the production so well, like every single sound effect and i can never hear lana singing. it’s like listening to the instrumental
