the aesthetics are profoundly beautiful (ribbons, eyeliner, pout, vintage aesthetic)
and the song itself is also a dream. idk why y’all think she’s “gone” ?
Because there’s a lot of BTD/UV/HM widows in this thread.
Lana is literally being considered one of the best composers of the century and getting more and more acclaimed as time goes by -
I dont think that she lost anything– she’s improving her lyrics. If there’s something happening here is the fact that she’s refining her art.
i personally don’t looove bb (album), but I can’t deny that her writing skills are getting better (bb, ww, tb). I think the same about this album. Is her best single? No– but it’s her best when it come to lyrics.
Each album have their stronger points.
BTD have a rich imagery and is a perfect debut albumUV is aesthetically well thought and give us a nice “experimental” lana
HM’s aesthetics is PERFECT. And her vocals are amazing too
LFL is her best example of something that she shouldn’t do again.
NFR have an AMAZING production + got us really hyped up (and I dare to say: it’s one of the most well thought album of the century)
COTCC have some pretty dope lyrics (especially her title-song, white dress and tulsa jesus freak) and sonority
BB have one of her best lyrics
i’m excited to see ocean boulevard (album).

You may not like the sonority of this song, but it’s undeniable that lana’s lyrics are improving all the time

Jack rly is sabotaging the most unique artist of this century by producing all this generic sounding music… i’ll let American Whore be my final judgement but this killed my hype a bit. I said what i said.
When is going to be my turd?
dont forget me!

My ranking
1. COTCC (it’s my favorite released song, alongside WW)
2. NFR/HM
3. BTD/UV
4: Ocean Blvd
6. BB
7. Lust for Life (i honestly think it’s one of her worsts songs)

Just now, Elle said:Yes, can we give it up for our upgraded servers??
We've had 500+ users on the site at ONCE and it's still working beautifully.
Big extra thanks to all of our Supporters & those who do not use ad-blocker on the site for helping contribute to the more expensive, but much-improved servers! Xx
You’re the sweetest person ever. Thank you for making a forum where we can freak out everytime.

I love this “recent” lana that is really into confessional poetry. You can tell that this bitch really read sylvia plath and it’s not just name dropping it in HIADTFAWLMTH-BIHI

Do not feed the troll lol
we literally are a group of stans that in majority are lgbtqia+, women and non-white. We don’t have to argue why this is bullshit.
