Eh, I'm never going to want people to swallow their feelings and just "produce" for the masses. What I am going to want people do to though, once they've reached a certain status and visibility, is approach whatever topics they want to dive into or discuss with a heightened degree of self-awareness and conviction. If this is pointed at my comment I'm high key just memeing about the overall tone of the thread; it goes back and forth so much it just makes me giggle; the same patterns exists in all the fandoms it's basically inescapable.

Looking at the spec....it's the version I've had for a beat. Has what's been out there lower quality?

I've settled for making 4-5 "EP" groupings for things that sound cohesive/go together well, and then throwing everything else into very wide "Unreleased Era 1, Unreleased Era 2" buckets, where Era 1 is basically everything Sucker and before, Era 2 is everything between Sucker and Pop 2, Era 3 is Pop 2 to HIFN, and Era 4 is everything post HIFN. I tried to do more but my sanity started slipping, and I realized that being obsessive over categorization was killing my want to just enjoy the music.

I thought I had it but on checking it appears to be an upscaley waley. ( @XCX Archivist grilled TF out of me one day off a rando screenshot I posted where I had converted something to WAV (that wasn't lossless) and held a gun to my head to go through all my files and it turns out I had like 2 OG/lossless from that era that nobody else seemed to have, but I guess Interior wasn't it )

I found it was a browser/addon problem for me. When I disabled adblock/ublock on LB, suddenly I could like/quote without issue, but when they're enabled, shit behaves weird. YMMV.

I love those solely because I chew them up and spit them out of my friend circle. Like the second I see one of those kinds, I'm HOT for it, because I'm the one who WILL call it out (tactfully though) in the middle of a conversation. Main character syndrome killer, I am.

I can't stand people who are like this. The "I know something you don't know" game isn't cute when you're past the age of 7. I've got acquaintances who work in education and healthcare, and it's so obnoxious when they start with the "Oh I've got this student/Oh I've got this patient, man I wish I could tell you about them, but, gosh darnit, I can't talk about it ha ha, but oh man was it something but gosh I just can't say it..." I just look at them like "??? Are you too stupid to anonymize the story? Or do we really feel like gatekeeping some mid af tale about a kid eating paste or a patient shitting the bed?" It's...really not that hard or serious. In this case, it's just weird to be gatekeepy about a musician talking with fans after a show. This is one of those instances where it's like....Sky's a public figure. Talking with the public. After a public show. I would think there's an understanding and awareness on her side that nothing she says to people is something that is going to stay confidential/she shouldn't share anything that's supposed to be confidential.

I thought this would have been the assumption to make from the jump? Usually whatever artists write and make while under label contract is owned by the label or the label has some stake/ownership in. Unless an artist and a friend go into a recording studio in secret and just fuck around for funnies and never tell anyone and hide it all; if it's official studio time and time and bookings; it's most likely got record label ownership over it all; released or not.
