I hope it's less about being invested in Jeremy's life and more about being invested in the lives of those he speaks out against, those he'd like see rights taken away from or physically harm.

You're right, Jeremy is more than someone who believes in tax cuts for the wealthy, he also believes in beating the shit out of transwomen.

I know you know, but being intelligent, being strong, writing songs about it, having millions of dollars, having family to call, having a lawyer, etc doesn't guarantee someone's safety in an abusive relationship or guarantee they escape it. Saying "so if he is abusive, she will take care of it" is such a "eh, whatever" kind of thing to say. That said, he's made some things about him known, but not this, so let's not even suggest.

Listen, life can be hard and we're all just trying to get through it and have a happy life. I'm not talking about politics. I don't care if we're talking about Lana's husband or the guy at the market who bagged your frozen chicken dumplings and organic sweet potatoes last night. Sharing posts promoting violence against transwomen is not ok. Millions of people sharing those shitty beliefs doesn't make it ok. I wasn't talking about tariffs on Chinese-made pillows, i was talking about hate speech.

Yea, but when he publicly promotes violence against transwomen that's a problem, it makes them less safe. I kind of get the feeling he wants certain beliefs of his known, ya know?

Him wanting transwomen beat down is also far more important than who he is voting for.
