I'm sorry that happened. I think we mostly agree then, that it can be the fault of both parties. The point that I was trying to make was that the songs were secure, they were private and on her protected SoundCloud account. I just think that in that specific situation it's more on the people who decide to breach that security.

Why? Have you never done anything in the past that you later decided you didn't like and were embarrassed of? How would you feel if something like that got leaked? Cause I'm damn sure you wouldn't be happy and you would have the right to be. Especially considering one of the songs was from pre/very early stages of her transition. Also, the only song that leaked because of her directly sharing it with fans was "Brood X", the rest of the songs were as she said from her hacked SoundCloud. It's a very different thing to say "It's entirely her fault that the songs were on SoundCloud and the people that hacked her did nothing wrong" than "It was irresponsible to have them up and she should learn something from this."

I don’t fully agree with this. Like yes the parasocial part but it’s normal to not hope for private things to leak. It’s actually possible to have sympathy for someone that you don't know. But on the other hand, if something leaks and it’s out there then nobody is stopping you from listening to it.
