We need more K-12 outtakes. And that oh No! song from the After School sessions needs to leak at this point (I know that's not the official title).

I like all of the songs on After School except for The Bakery and Notebook. I wish The Bakery wasn't on the EP tbh. I wish Melanie would've just done the music video for Test Me instead. She did say it was going to be her favorite.

MIMA is one of my favorite albums. Each song feels like a chapter of a memoir or a page from a diary. It feels like this woman is reflecting on these relationships years later. And I love that! I hope the next album is like this (she did tease a "sister album" so hopefully it'll be similar). I hope we get some type of announcement soon. Even if Nicole just releases b sides on Bandcamp I'd be happy.

Y'all after watching the MV a few times I've thought about how if you read the lyrics, it's obviously about someone only wanting to sleep with Melanie (idk if I can say the word on here). But the concept of the music video leads me to believe that the song could also be about someone or a group of people (her label or her fans or both) or people in general who only want Melanie to act a certain way or they want her to look a certain way. It was a video game where Melanie isn't in control. Someone else is. If y'all have anything to add please do bc I'm going to need more time to think about this. I just LOVE the concept.

Here's my ideas for the singles and the dates I think they could've been released: 1. Nurse's Office - June 24th, 2019 (a week after the TV spot w the snippet) 2. High School Sweethearts (w Strawberry Shortcake as the B-Side, similar to how Play Date was the B-Side to Fire Drill) - July 23, 2019 (the day the vinyl single was released) 3. Show & Tell - October 3, 2019

What would be the ideal album rollout? (not just Melanie, it could be any artist) I'm always posting on this thread so that's why I'm posting this here. Also I want to make an album within the next year or the next few years. I don't know if I'll use my real name or if I'll come up with a name. Would y'all prefer an EP or an Album? Would y'all prefer music videos, lyric videos, or visualizers? Also how do y'all feel about deluxe editions?

I'd also add Nurse's Office and The Principal.

I read somewhere that Melanie was going to release three bonus tracks but she kept writing so that's why she released After School. I also read somewhere that Show & Tell was supposed to be a bonus track originally (I wonder what song was supposed to be in its place). Trophy was supposed to be another one of the bonus tracks and so was Erase Her. These songs were recorded in 2017. Fire Drill was recorded in 2018. Also I think Melanie should've released some singles from K-12 (three singles exactly like the Cry Baby era). I just don't know which songs should've been singles.

In case y'all didn't know, Elita has been working on their second album for a while (I think before Dysania was released). Elita posted on their Instagram story a few days ago announcing that Sour Switchblade has reached 30M streams on Spotify and they also said to keep streaming while they work on their new album. I'm assuming the new album will be released 2024-2025.

I agree. I think for K-12 Melanie should've just given us music videos instead of a movie. I know she released music videos but they were just clips from the movie itself. If she had done that we could've gotten K-12 in 2017. Also I wish After School would've been an album instead of an EP but that's just my opinion.

Are we even gonna get music videos? I was hoping for at least one this year but I don't think that'll happen. Hopefully next year.

Over the Summer she said in some interview that the movie was gonna happen but Atlantic won't provide the funding for it. I think it'll still happen but she won't be getting the funding from Atlantic. If she does make the movie it will take a few years. If we don't get the movie then how are we supposed to know the storyline bc right now Portals just sounds like a collection of songs with no clear storyline?

I really want the PORTALS film at some point. I understand the concept but what's the storyline?

I think this was released bc EVIL is the next single off of PORTALS and the MV hasn't been filmed yet. I like the background but other than that I don't really like it.

I wish Melanie would've made the Test Me music video.

I've been listening to Runnin' Free nonstop these past few days. It's one of the best songs I've ever heard.

Elita is going on tour in Australia in January.

On Instagram there is a post with a video and some photos rumored to be from the Faerie Soiree music video. The Instagram account is melaniedailyfact. Last week I saw a post on there saying that Melanie is filming 4 music videos around the same time so this might be true but idk.

The PORTALS tour starts up again on October 16. If she films 4 MVs per week and if she started last week the schedule might be: Week of September 18th-22nd - 4 music videos September 25th - 29th - 4 music videos 8 music videos October 2nd-6th - 4 music videos 12 music videos October 9-13th - 1 music video 13 music videos * This is how I would schedule it if I were filming MVs like this.

It's been said that Melanie is working on 4 MVs at the same time. She started last week I think. If she continues working on 4 MVs per week, she'll be done filming MVs before tour starts up again.
