Oh thanks so much! I get pretty fussy with surface noise. It seems like the better the speakers, the more you hear the noise in my experience. I don’t really listen to Honeymoon or Chemtrails on vinyl because they’re so noisy. I’ll probably wait and see how the other ones sound when I get them before I buy another one.

This one is so good, and it was my least favorite when they showed the mock-ups. Debating driving 40 min down to get one at the Target that has them in stock.

That gatefold is gross. K-12 has one of the coolest gatefolds of all time (despite the album being hot garbage). I’d be tempted to get K-12 just for the gatefold @The Siren I got the Crybaby Walmart blue pressing a couple months ago and it sounds great btw. All that shit is pressed in the same place, I would doubt that Walmart is much worse aside from a coincidence. Also are you guys listening to those boomy voice memos they sound so bad I cannot. Though I heard them all in person already

I’m rewatching the video and it’s interesting the choice they made on those closeup shots of her singing into the camera, you can’t even see the top set of eyes. They’re almost completely obscured by the lashes of the lower eyes. Even in the CGI the upper eyes seem like an afterthought and they’re sitting too far up and looking too high.

My small town Target doesn’t carry the vinyl and neither do the next two closest ones. I guess I’ll be saving my money for a bit

I can’t decide if i want to pick up the Target one. I ordered green and white, and I canceled the Amazon because of the color. But if they all sound bad, I don’t need another version.

For what it’s worth one of my TikTok friends was playing the green vinyl on live. It was pretty crackly, and he said it didn’t sound great in person. Also Fingertips had the sparkle on it.

The only part I didn’t like was the dancers with the masks, but the visuals were really good. She kept it fun but also gave some attitude. Curious about the ending also.
