I’ll say again there has to be some kind of coordination with these egg recipients…right? How have we not gotten more than one a day, if they blindly sent them out? Also, if there were 14 eggs sent, we haven’t gotten snippets of any of the 4-5 tracks teased leading up the announcement that corresponded with the Instagram posts. And if any of the leaks are appearing, they seem to also have been pushed to the end of the egg list. I dunno, trusting these middle school stans with all this seems like a mess waiting to happen

My best friend who has a hard time getting into Lana, and said A&W “could be 2 min shorter” absolutely loved The Grants, and said it was his favorite song he had heard by her. I think there’s something unique about it and there will be some “piano ballad” BS about it, it’s a strong, unique track.

Copy Cat is kind of a bop…I like the Tierra Whack verse (whoever she is) The worst part is the pitched down vocals in the post chorus for the umpteenth time. Let’s hope she leaves that sound completely off Portals.

I think you make a lot of very valid points here, and I don’t truly know enough about the industry to know the true explanation. But wouldn’t the appeal of songs like Sirens, TV, N&T be a testament that they would be a success? If they were fully fleshed out, HQ versions of the songs that people already love low quality versions of, coupled with visuals, wouldn’t that be a recipe for success? Everyone who loves the songs would surely listen to the new, better versions if they’re listening to the leaks. I mean, Cry Baby had two songs on it from the Dollhouse EP, and they still made the album, yes evidently she thought that they are vital to the story, but they had already been exposed to the public over a year before CB came out. And you’re right, it is out of a love for the music and for the artist that we know deserves to have these songs put out to the general public.
