I know a lot of you guys say you’re going to go to the beach. I live literally two houses from a beach (but in Michigan) and it’s cold. Also I’m not going to wait until the next day to listen. For Midnights, I actually ordered a little Walmart cake with Midnights written on it, and drank a bottle of Prosecco But for this one I’m not sure. But it’ll be at home, in my music room with salt lamps and a good set of speakers.

Obviously I have no idea but I have to believe the album will have some kind of hype sticker on it? Maybe not for the standard variant. But I’ll say it’s the best fake I’ve seen

I like Text Book in general, and the BLM line doesn’t bother me but it’s a weak opener for sure. I’m most excited for the Grants, as I feel like we know the least about it. No samples, no lyrics, no snippets. My expectations are high

I see what y’all are saying about these pitched down vocals on K-12. Using them in the chorus on The Principal and Detention is pretty cringe. It makes the music seem very dated imo. Like if Taylor’s use of it on Midnight Rain was questionable, the way it sounds on these songs is criminal. The tone of it on Tag You’re It is much better, it’s darker and sounds more like a Billie Eilish eerie type sound rather than this empty echoey sound on K-12.

Maybe Lana was lowkey a Nurses Office fan and that’s why she put a sneeze on A&W But yeah this song is unlistenable.

I forgot The Principal has that phone ringing sound which is the EXACT same tone as my work phone and it is the most triggering sound since my phone rings all day

if I had to pick three faves from CB: Mrs Potato Head, Tag You’re It, Mad Hatter I just remembered I had a dream nightmare last night that Mel posted a snippet of some new song to the melody of Needle and Thread and totally changed the lyrics, and it was some super watered down song and she took out all the thread/clothing references

Mrs Potato Head is my favorite on CB
