Okay, I'm so sorry that I'm going to break the chain for a hot second but I just wanted to say thay this is one of my top favorite threads on this forum (with No Context LanaBoards, LDR Album Discussion, Unpopular Lana Opinions and What Are You Listening To). It has been going on for twelve years and over the times, it has got bigger and bigger in options because the amount of songs Lana has released + songs that have leaked. It's also drama free, it unites all the people on the forum. This thread has kind of kept the forum alive in the droughts because it's endless and any member can play it at any second. I'm so glad that it's one of the most active threads here and honestly it's the best thread here with the aforementioned threads which are my other favorites.

Reading this thread I’ve been having some thoughts. Please don’t take this the wrong way.
 
Why is it so bad to criticise Lana? Is she exempt from occasionally making wrong decisions because she is incredibly talented or because she’s our favourite singer? No. She can still do questionable things, and she can be criticised for the problematic behaviour of people she chooses to surround herself with. There’s a clear pattern that has been going on recently. 
 
Lana has stopped engaging as much with her fandom, and probably rightly so. She needs to protect her mental health, her privacy and dignity. When every single thing you say publicly/online gets so heavily scrutinised and twisted, I don’t blame her for not wanting to speak out much on this topic. 
However all this does is give way to speculation. There’s this theory called Occam’s razor which suggests the simplest explanation to events, is usually the most likely one. Sadly the situation here is that we are left to consider, does Lana really just share all the same right wing values of her partner, or does she just simply does not care what political side he aligns himself with because she is blindly in love. But I’ve read so much convoluted gibberish in Thais thread and I just don’t see much point in speculating. 
 
I guess we will never know, she doesn’t owe us an explanation either. So I’ve come to believe there’s not much point in holding her to any expectations. Just enjoy the art.

Decided to do a proper timeline for a beautiful Cry Baby era, including all key events, that may help to create more accurate concepts for this album, since we know there were at least 4 of them. In this timeline I was supposed to show the month of origin of released songs, since we generally don’t know when were final versions for them were made

I think it's just either one depending on the song. on our way's og leak for example is much better quality than the previously leaked file, as the og one is lossless; uncompressed. but the kill kill ep og leaks are more of a just fun collector thing i think. and also what @Beauty King mentioned about metadata.
 
and also it's rare but sometimes the leaker will slightly edit a song or create a new version of it with the song's stems. so og file leaks of songs in that context will be the unedited, original versions. example being zodiac

she tweeted something like "shooting a music video in nothing but a mink coat" during her career's early years (2010-2013 or something) and it was rumoured to be for Cola but the video never came out and was never brought up again

i understand a lot of them though because tiktok for larger creators is also a job, and it's just been abruptly taken away from them. small businesses are in the same boat, because i feel like the past few years small businesses in general have gained so much popularity and appreciation for their work via tiktok. those two type of creators are probably the ones this ban is affecting the most. i can't say i feel as bad for the simple influencers because the job was always temporary anyways, but im just imagining all the small businesses thatll have to stop work entirely, which for a lot of them is their passion and art, too.

 
tiktok has definitely been more impactful than people give it credit for. past all the brainrot, it's given so many different people platforms to speak or to earn money from as a job. and this ban also affects everyone in every country too, especially since america's one of the countries with the most users worldwide. business is gonna be a lot slower for small businesses outside of the US now. everyone's gonna struggle
