  1. Who cares about that stupid song. If you want a new version just re-master it yourself!
  2. I doubt she will do Tv promoting, she hates it and I don't blame her, if she really ends up doing it i doubt she'll fail anyway cause WC is an "easy song". Stop being so obsessed with fame, isn't it obvious she doesn't want that? Also I think we will probably get the release date along with the WC video, and later we'll get snippets of the songs just like we did with BTD and Paradise. Just wait for it...
  3. Cola could have been cooler if she put more electric guitar in it. And change the production of the verses, they sound similar to a BTD song. It could have been a single if she used metaphors for the lyrics, nobody wants to hear my pussy taste like pepsi cola or i know your wife that she woudnt mind... Still one of her coolest songs but not the best. I think off to the races is more classy, and with better vocals.
  4. Don't let that ruin the song for you, they're not even related, and the early live version is much better. It feels more atmospheric and less bland/dry than the studio/late live version.
  5. Yes, exactly. Shes doing the notes, but in an unhealthy way. If she keeps doing it she will loose her voice. So I think she should stop doing them!
  6. Im not bashing Lana. And yes, she wants to do the high notes because she always sings them in every concert of hers! Except the last note which isn't important. When she starts in "drug suck it up.." she starts to strain and her voice crumbles to the point were she can't produce a constant note but she has to go lower to keep her stamina. Thats fine, the problem comes when she says "why come one come on" she either is very nervous, sick or has lost her voice. To me it looks as if the she thinks producing the high E will be very hard (and it's probably not difficult for her out of the stage) and either produces a higher or lower note, this is a sign that she doesnt have control of her voice at the moment and to control it she has to push. By the time she gets to the uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh part its obvious shes not comfortable doing it, it sounds very harsh and breathy and her throat goes up trying to control the notes. And this has happened in every American concert. If you compare it too the European/South American tour where she did the notes effortlestly and they sounded beautiful you will notice the different. Shes clearly exhausted. Anyway my point is she's either too nervous or too tired to sing those high notes and if she keeps straining her voice is possible she will loose it, so she should just avoid them and sing another melody instead. Fans dont care if she jumps the high notes I doubt theyre for that so to preserve her beautiful voice she just attemp them if shes feeling confident and wont rip her throat off.
  7. She's having a lot of trouble singing the high notes in Cola, she's obviously capable of doing it and even going beyond it but she seems to get nervous even before the climax and you can tell because she goes off-tune everywhere, she fucking tense and straining her vocal chords like hell. If she keeps doing that she's gonna destroy her voice. I really hope there's not many high stuff in Ultraviolence or she should just avoid the hard notes or else she will end up losing her voice.
  8. Fans coudn't care less about this stuff. But yes, her voice is very flat and weak. In one song she sounds great and suddenly in the other it's terrible.
  9. what a voice Also Blue Jeans is very similar to Wicked Game, very similar chord progression (I think it's the same but in a different key), same change of vocal registers between the chorus and the verses, they both have videos in black and white but Chris's is set in a beach while Lana's it's in a pool. She clearly is inspired by him which is a good thing because his music is so good.
  10. Wow shes again singing about this guy again, i wonder what happened i feel bad for Lana
  11. The high pitched sounds on the last chorus. At the beggining I thought they were some Lana super high notes. So dissapointed when I found out they weren't.
  12. She coudn't have given us something better than this, remembers me when I first heard Ride, I was expecting something very radio-friendly to get her up in the charts, instead I got that beautiful ballad, because we all know Lana doesn't do it for the charts but for the art. If Aka ever got reworked it would sound like this, the chorus it's like an evolved but still different version of Kill Kill, it's like drinking under the stars in the cold night very atmospherical music. It's amazing to see she's evolving but hasn't forgot her roots, Queen of the Gas Station, Mermaid Motel would fit here so perfectly. I really hope there's sexy songs like those in Ultraviolence
  13. This is so annoying, theyre teasing to much. I hope someone leaks the whole album at least amonth before its release This is so annoying, theyre teasing to much. I hope someone leaks the whole album at least amonth before its release
  14. It's Bitchriah throwing shade on other artists. As usual.
  15. Neither he wants one: THIS IN AN AWARDS SHOW FOR CLOWNS!
  16. Stop crying If you dont like it then dont read the forum
  17. Ive been avoiding listening to Lana for months so when I listen to UV im slayed by her beautiful distinct voice, like the first time I heard her.
  18. The only song I would consider to be "alternative rock" in BTD would be Blues Jeans. I dont see how the others fit the genre. Paradise has more of a rock vibe with Cola/Gods and Monsters/Body Electric live version.
