Aka feels incomplete, I think it could have been much better. Born to Die has good songs but the production is not very good which makes some songs completely boring. Example: Radio Again Paradise has bad production except songs like Ride, Bel Air, Burning Desire. Lyrics are not very good also. Cola makes me cringe all the time, but at least it has good vocals and nice chorus. Sirens is probably her best album. It very simple but genuine. Her voice feels natural and real and you can relate to the songs. Im sure Ultraviolence will be an evolution for her, and also probably her best album too now that she experimented this last years.

I assume future jazz just means she will create something ground-breaking, like completely dissonant music and mix it with random genres, also she probably will be doing crazy shit with her voice we have never heard her do before. So she probably is just experimenting, I hope. For example Lana singing a jazz song like this would be amazing:

Thats true but I will like to say that it does make her stand out. Its so rare for a female singer to sing a full song low like she does in Burning Desire. Still she manages to pull it off perfectly and make it sound that beautiful. Its only when she must go below a low D that she has problems (SS, Ride, Blue Velvet). It seems to be too low for her and she doesnt even attemp the notes. I personally think her bigger problems are in her middle and high voice, her tone changes every performance o.o

You cant compare Miley to for example Mariah Carey (or any opera singer) who had nearly perfect control of their voices at their prime and still manage to have lots of power to this day, and I agree her voice strains sometimes on high notes but only because she doesnt "mix" her voice she pushes to get there but she still does it . Im sure if Lana sung a G#5 in chest like Miley did does people would praise her instead of saying she didnt do it well. Its very annoying how people criticize Miley so much because she likes to act like a slut to gain popularity, Miley is not a bad singer, Celine Dion sings with nasal voice too and everyone praises her. And yes Lana can be "better" than Miley but shes very far from that. Lana doesnt sing with power because she doesnt want to and she sounds great that way, like 90% of her songs are sung softly, 0 resonance in her live performances. She chooses to sing that way.

Im not upset, thats just the way I write. And Miley doesnt only sing low notes well, she can go higher than Lana with her head voice and be resonant, she can belt out very high notes (which means she can "scream" notes like Kelly Clarkson, Demi Lovato, Aretha Franklin, Celine Dion high), Miley can also sustain this high notes for a "long" time and perform melismas in her songs easily. To do all of this stuff you need good breath support and comfortable throat/tongue/jaw position, Lana doesnt know how to do this because shes never had someone to teach her how or at least thats what she says.

God I hope not. I think Cola deserves a proper single video and remix release before she puts out the next album, its a great song with great vocals and its controversial which is good since people must look forward to next single after Summertime. And if you ask me i think Cola doesnt fit with Tropico, i mean i dont know the story, but i dont think Shauns character looks like an old married man. Also Gods & Monsters fits perfectly with Chola theme, shes an "angel" because she came from God but she wants to have fun, she wants to take that apple, so she gets fucked hard, takes drugs, becomes a tough girl, GODS DEAD I SAID BABY THATS ALRIGHT WITH ME. Understand that im not bashing Lana, Im just saying Miley has better control over her voice, are you so deaf to notice that? I prefer Lanas voice too and yes I think her voice is special and only a gifted woman can sound the way she does, but Lanas skill as a vocalist is not very good. If you want to be a singer you have to SING, you cant avoid performing or singing your songs it doesnt work that way, each day Lana is better at performing, but RIGHT NOW Miley can easily oversing her.

If Lana sounds better to you then thats great, we all have different taste, Lana is a soprano which means her natural voice is high and girly, Miley is the complete opossite being the deep voice of a woman, a contralto, so we cant really compare this two, at all, but i will for you. Every singer has their weakness and I dont wanna bash Lana, but shes not a better vocalist than Miley. Dont you see Miley hitting those effortless Summertime Sadness low notes. Lana hits that note once every 50 performances because she lacks control of this part of her voice. Kinda like Britney whos voice is deep but always sings high thats why she ruined her voice and sounded really bad live, lana sings lower than she can and she may destroy her voice. Lanas voice live doesnt fit with her studio, her technique suddenly dissapears in the stage and it all turns to a mess, low, middle and high notes, and I know shes very aware of that. She has NO CONTROL of her voice. Miley controls low and middle perfectly. Her highs are good, and bonus she reaches crazy high tones. Lanas tone is more pleasant too most people, but she cant sing like Miley at all. Miley has better control and power. Lana has great potential, if she had control of her voice imagine all the crazy beautiful stuff she would do. But she doesnt have it, which is ok with all fans of her, we love her anyway, but I have to stop you when you say Lana sings better than Miley. Each have their weaknesses but Lana is far from being a skilled vocalist.

I just heard Bangerz and wow this a very good record. Vocally she surpasses big popstars like Gaga, Katy, Rihanna, Kesha, Taylor Swift. Lyrics are very naughty, but can be stupid/generic sometimes and the production is just genious, you can tell she worked hard to do this. But I wonder why she released the worst songs as first singles, guess she's leaving the best for the end.

I understand your point, and yes you're right. Beyonce has said herself she's a perfectionist, that's just the way she goes, she wants everything to go accordingly so her fans have the best time ever. The important thing here is like 95% of people from her concerts leave satisfied and happy, look at the reviews, people love the way she performs. Why should she change it. AND NO. BRITNEY IS NOT BETTER THAN BEYONCE LIVE. lol Britney constantly receives complaints of looking bored/annoyed (and doing playback obviously). Beyonce doesn't look bored in stage AT ALL.
