I'm not cancelling her, I'm posting my opinion on a forum. I feel like she could have handled this way better, don't namedrop her because sooner or later she does something like this and now there's pie on your face. I agree they are not the same but at the very least she is straddling a very blurry line. Still the comparisson to Trump, Marjorie Taylor Greene or whomever still stands. You've just given a platform to her and her hatred. I'm ot calling Charli a biggot, I'm calling her an idiot. As I said, say it's about dead eyed models like Gabriette and move on. It would be less bad if she was just friends, or the girl was incredibly racist, homophobic or sexist behind closed doors. But shouting out a volatile right wing extremist who doesn't know how to turn Twitter off, is a dumb move, clear for all to see. She dug her own grave, let her lie in it. We'll forget it in 2 weeks anyway...

I mean it is weird to make a song about such a problematic person. Mean Girls is great, one of my faves and to me it sounds like uplifting women who get labeled problematic, mean and bitchy but in actuality aren't. Something you can't say about Dasha, so I don't know why of all people she decided to namedrop her in interviews, she even mentions Garbiette as an example of those mean girls. Just namedrop her instead and save yourself the backlash. Or explicitly mention that you were fascinated by her and her looks, but don't agree with the things she says. The way Nicki, Kanye and even Harry Potter fans explain their love for their works. We would call out someone making a song glorifying Trump, Weinstein or Dahmer. Why should Charli be free from criticism?

Apart from Von dutch I really liked the roll out, she teased us but we still didn't know everything, but the post release is a mess. Like why did she release the deluxe 3 days later, with the Lorde remix 2 weeks after that and then radio silence? Like if she knew the remix album would take a while, space out the deluxe and the remixes that were ready further apart. Tease us with somethings, give us a snippet of Apple ft Caroline, maybe even a short vocal stem or just some of the instrumental. Post a snippet or picture of her in the studio, some adlibs. Keep the hype going. Also what is she doing if there are no more singles, music videos or shows comming until mid September?

Maybe some of the songs already leaked, I could see Closer on a romcom, Honestly, Take my house and Make you mine could maybe work as well. Girl$ plays when the female lead thinks she doesn't need a man, and at the end of the song she meets her true love.

So her tour page on her site now shows that she'll be in Roskilde on the 5th of July, I'm happy for the Danish and maybe Swedish or German angels that can go. So I guess us Europeans need to be watching that page like a hawk, in hope we'll be able to make it to this or that festival in a week from the anouncement.

I guess it's on a smaller time scale, but how is the remix album this airtight when 2 whole songs leaked months before brat would be released, with Talk talk doing the same later on. On top of 5 scrapped demos/deluxe tracks, meanwhile we still have to guess who'll be on the remix album. I'm not mad, more impressed, this is way more fun than those leakfests... Here's hoping XCX7 will be able to do the same.

So about Marina potentially being on another version of Girl (be it with or without Lorde), I just stumbled upon that Tiktok/YT Short about them, it's titled Girl... This can't be a coincidence, right?

The only thing I could see would be a version with Lorde and Marina. They are basically the only girls speculated for the song to be about, and honestly their twitter interaction felt so forced. Commenting on a remix while staying silent on the album, it sounds like a stunt. Like Charli told her, don't mention me at all, until the Lorde version drops, so people can speculate again before this final version/remix drops. I do agree though that a Lorde version and a Marina version would be less satisfying than a Lorde version followed by a final version with all three. Also the word version just screams that The girl, so confusing saga is not yet finished, Otherwise she would have called it a remix.

Not strictly Charli, but what is this? What's happening

There's barely any autotune on Carly's voice in backseat, just an echo. It's not a hill Charli's willing to die on for the featuring artist. Also why do people think its' about Marina. I don't think they go out to a restaurant often, or at all... It just makes no sense since the song isn't about her at all. Just admit defeat already Marina truthers.

This is why she isn't doing a European tour, she needs to be in close proximity of that fucking wall at least once a week

I'm in my delulu era, so I believe we're getting another Girl, so confusing remix with Lorde. I just find it weird that this is the first remix she called a version, when Lorde liteally mentions the remix on the song. It only makes sense in my head if we get a true remix later on (be it a part 3, or just an <insert producer here> type remix over the vocals of this version) It would also explain the "there's three" part. Not that we need it, this was great

In my head it was confirmed the moment Lorde shouted brat out on release day, but some people need more than that to truly believe it. I mean there were still people here on release day doubting whether or not the remix album would become a thing...

Look, to avoid looking desperate I need to keep some distance between my subsequent begging for a European tour (I'm well aware I'm not beating those allegations). Nigel gets it, only now and then asking for moonlight demo.

Honestly I hoped for more variation on the remix album. Preferably no repeat producers or features. I am happy with the length though. Fingers crossed it's good

So is she just going to take a holiday this summer (kind of bratty tbh) or is she going to tour, because we still know nothing about summer dates between July 12th and early September. Come on Charli, Europe loves you

At first I thought Crash was such a waste since I didn't like it and now it seems it's less succesfull than brat. Now however I think Crash once again made people aware of Charli, allowing for brat to reach more people. It was a stepstone towards future success.

If it isn't then we will for sure never hear eh eh XCX Charli again, which would be a shame, the same could be said for it's Charli baby just by association. It might be the case regardless but I love those tags too much to just give up hope.
