I feel like the plan has always been two singles. Ever since her magazine last August where she said “two songs before the end of the year” it’s been the plan.

I think the album just kept getting pushed back over and over again and now she’s kinda in a rush because she wanted these two songs out before she plays them at Stagecoach, but I do have a feeling there will be more than 13 songs!

My top 5 favorite things about Henry

- The piano and guitar kicking in on the first verse at “I mean baby come on”
- And it’s not because of you… (that whole moment and the chorus)
- “ Dontevenbother explain’ “ (her voice is golden here)
- The bridge. Short, sweet, and incredible. All these couuntry singers… (slight pause) …and their lonely rides to Houston…
- Basically the whole song (Very good)

Special mention: “they just fly away” heartbreaking.

are you listening to the same song? minimal production? like yeah, it’s soft, but it builds. you’ve got the plucky guitar, that cinematic string section creeping in and then it's center stage, you've got harp, and even that little sand-shaker thing. it’s textural, it's layered, it's giving emotional swell!! production isn’t just about being loud or having a beat drop, it’s about arrangement, atmosphere, movement, and Henry has the range imo.
