My first post here so i´d like to show my appreciation for this song from Lust For Life, that may or ,may not be simple but that i true think it´s beautiful and meanigful in lots of ways.
Starters first, i also think it is a perfect fit. After "Coachella - Woodstock In My Mind" and before "When The World Was At War We Kept Dancing", it creates also a sort of tunnel between the two songs, embracing you in the album even more (which we all know it is at least top 3 LDR).
Now, talking more about the meaning itself and the lyrics, it´s about simply embracing yourself. It is like she finally discovered her true inner self and is asking for the person to "take her as i am" reforcing it even more.
