So I listened to Perfectionist. I was really feeling a lot of Gaga in that album The solo version of "Free" is the only song I feel like playing on repeat at the moment but I intend to listen more and pick out the gems. Lbr, some of it is trash.

I think it was Marina's biggest venue to date but I don't know if perhaps New York was bigger later in the tour...To be fair, it seemed like a normal concert to me, and I was right in the pit. A lot of young teenagers weren't ready for it, though, so they thought pushing was some kind of anomaly. Sky's at the El Rey, which Lana performed in last summer and Charli is performing in this September. So that's about the same kind of exposure across the board. It's pretty small for an LA venue but we'll see. I'm seeing Charli just weeks before so I guess I'll learn about the atmosphere and details.

I need to master the art of driving in the city...I've only been actively driving since January so I reckon my grandma would have a heart attack because I live in a basically rural area. She's finally doing an all-ages show in LA at the same place Charli's is, September 29th. If she releases her album on the 17th there's no way I'm not going. But I might have a weekend job and lame friends...we'll see.

I can imagine her voice suiting it beautifully, but I can't imagine her as a person saying, "Yeah, let's do Celine Dion."
