What's to get? Yes, I feel that these Trouble songs are a lot less generic and I'm actually excited for it quite a bit.

Welcome child. OMG a fan prior to this thread, how cool! Yes, I think "Hood" is my favorite as well, it's just too short. Case with most of his songs--like he's getting too emotional so he has to make every song 2 minutes or something He has so much sadness even in his love songs. I swear, "Dark Parts" has brought me to tears before. I think the second album is the best, have you heard Learning?

So I listened to Perfectionist. I was really feeling a lot of Gaga in that album The solo version of "Free" is the only song I feel like playing on repeat at the moment but I intend to listen more and pick out the gems. Lbr, some of it is trash.
  5. My pleasure She took some convincing with Lana but now she loves her, same with Marina...Don't see any reason for Sky to be different! OMG no My friend is just hesitant about LA shows in general after her experience, I guess. I think it was Marina's biggest venue to date but I don't know if perhaps New York was bigger later in the tour...To be fair, it seemed like a normal concert to me, and I was right in the pit. A lot of young teenagers weren't ready for it, though, so they thought pushing was some kind of anomaly. Sky's at the El Rey, which Lana performed in last summer and Charli is performing in this September. So that's about the same kind of exposure across the board. It's pretty small for an LA venue but we'll see. I'm seeing Charli just weeks before so I guess I'll learn about the atmosphere and details.

    Charli XCX

YES CHARLI YES! YOU WRITE THAT BIGGEST SURPRISE HIT OF 2013! RIHANNA WHO?! MAKE THAT $$$
  7. Probably "Fat Ass Bitch" I wonder if these are intended to be celebrity impersonators or actually portraying Elvis etc...Could be kind of ~trash magic~ if they're just impersonators.
  8. I need to master the art of driving in the city...I've only been actively driving since January so I reckon my grandma would have a heart attack because I live in a basically rural area. However, this is a skill I need because I'm always held back by trying to get a driver who is usually ten times less interested in showing up early and hanging around late. I would absolutely take a letter for you! And anyone else, but you definitely deserve it. It's looking pretty likely that I can go, I asked my friend about it today and I'm currently awaiting her verdict on the songs I told her to listen to. Technically, she said, "That should be fine if I like her." Pray for Sky's power So take these next few months to start drafting Good to hear! I think my friend's hesitance came from her experience with Marina's concert in LA...I was fine, but she was very overwhelmed. Had to assure her that Sky is much less popular. (First time I've ever wished that this woman doesn't go big in a few months' time.)
  9. I've sat on the thought for a few hours and decided that I'll ask my concert buddy tomorrow. Here comes the part where no one knows Sky Ferreira and I'm already dragging my friends to Charli despite their reluctance. Album out or not, I'll still hear some newer tracks and hopefully Werewolf. If I were to meet her...oh, jeez, what's she like to meet?
  10. Some of those are true. "Saggy" isn't one them.

    Charli XCX

JK why is this one of the highest images for Charli on Google, it's so unflattering I actually agree with @@comeintomybedroom's choice, but to make this not a boring day I'll post some more. Simply drives me bananas, it's so hot. This was my first impression of her so it has a special place in my heart. One on the right.

    Charli XCX

Yeah now I have to start adding paragraphs to explain myself rather than trust that it's a good decision. I've never listened to the What I Like remix with Danny Brown, tbh, but now that they're gonna have another song together I might as well. Anyone wanna provide?

    Azealia Banks

Apparently she said at Glastonbury that No Problems is on the album?
  15. Hopefully Monday will bring more pictures to get our life from: https://twitter.com/ShaundRoss/status/351128127440818177
  16. How could I I'll listen to that when you add "9. Azealia Banks - 'Broke With Expensive Taste'"
  17. She's finally doing an all-ages show in LA at the same place Charli's is, September 29th. If she releases her album on the 17th there's no way I'm not going. But I might have a weekend job and lame friends...we'll see.
  18. I can imagine her voice suiting it beautifully, but I can't imagine her as a person saying, "Yeah, let's do Celine Dion."
  19. Lorde delivering a new set of hymns in September.
  20. I'm gonna have to listen again for "Billy" I'm not sure about the night life part, either. Here's what I use:
  21. I'm predicting at least 5. It is a 20 minute video, is she just supposed to look glam between songs?
  22. Prediction: - Dope monologue about being in the land of gods and monsters, stripping and stuff. - First song is G&M in the strip club. Hopefully some tits, if not hers, make a premiere. Really trying to imagine her meeting this albino guy in the strip club, but... - Undetermined for Body Electric. Monologues galore, for sure. A dark part of the relationship, I suppose, if G&M is about current love and Bel Air is about a reunion. Must be some kind of break. - But he picks her up in the Bel Air car as the piano begins and they ride off to the ethereal meadow of loveliness (Heaven?), where they fucking float around and stuff.
  23. It's a few more pounds, but she doesn't need to do anything about it
