I am a #hater. This song is the only valid excuse to say LFL sucks. It sounds literally discordant at times. Some parts are very nice, a lot of it, but that black and blue part legitimately hurts my ears like this is not an exaggeration, as soon as she says sometimes I turn my record off The best thing about Get Free is the people on YouTube hinting at comparing it with Mr Watson by Cruel Youth, an actual masterpiece

I think that what's so fascinating and appealing in VG vid is that it's purely, entirely curated and directed by Lana herself, she chose exactly what scenes would happen, how they would happen, when they would happen, she made herself look hot in her own eyes and that's what mattered, and she's alone, and she does it for herself, so she has no point to prove to anyone so she can be entirely herself without creating a persona other than the one she chooses to be in her own eyes. 95% thanks to me honestly

You know what? Fuck Big Active and Mat Maitland. Yeah they're good but not enough. I want MORE. I want the next level. I want the absolute best designer of all time, David Rudnick, to design LDR6. Let me tell you, this guy is a LEGEND. I worship every piece he's put out. For example for Nicolas Jaar's Sirens, he designed a vinyl cover made of scratch material, that you need to scratch the reveal the cover, and it comes with a penny. And that's not just sparkles because the designs themselves are unbelievably beautiful. And his intricate ornemental custom typographies are infuriatingly beautiful because he doesn't sell them. Also he's hot which never hurts The only issue ofc is that his universe has nothing to do at all w Lana lol but that's a challenge that would be monstrously interesting to watch unravel precisely Oh and I just discovered that he's the one who made the visuals for Witness if that gives you hints
