I mean she could be a little more active on like Twitter or something. Like yesterday was really neat because she posted that clip covering that song. That was cool. I don't know... I'm frustrated. I know she's posted she's been in the studio a few times but it's never clear if it's for her stuff or if she's working on other people's stuff.

There's too much to quote so... whateva. I'd recommend the Truth Serum EP. It's stronger lyrically than Queen of the Clouds. She got a little repetitive with lyrics on the LP and with Scream My Name. On the other hand, she wrote and produced Scream My Name which makes me hopeful that she'll have a stronger hand at producing on her next album. I'd like to hear more of her own sound, rather than say Ilya's or Ali's. She's doing festivals in the US and Europe and she's got a headlining small North Amer. tour this fall, but it's still smaller venues. Her tour dates are all in the northern top of the US plus California and lower Canada. So she's left out a huge chuck of the US and of course Mexico. Basically a lot of the places she's already toured will get to see her yet again.

I'm not even talking about her 2nd album, I'm talking about her promo now. She dropped the Timebomb video (it was kinda boring) and then crickets. How do you know?

I saw that snippit last year. There's no doubt that she's talented and it would be amazing to hear her full version of that. She sounds great. Idk, I would rather talk about the fact that I'm gonna need her to step it up. I'm f'ing bored with her right now. You would think this era is over because it feels like it's just come to a screeching halt. I know Timebomb's add date isn't for another week, but I'm bored! Like I know she's been doing shows and festivals, which is nice for other people, but she's missing a lot of people. Even her North America tour is leaving out a huge chunk of North America. Ugh....

You've pin-pointed why it feels really flat. It's so noticable. If you're singing a song called Leave Me Alone and there's the lyrics "please just leave me alone" and there's no emotion there and it's like you're just talking about the weather there's something wrong. I'm guessing it's because they built the songs around their vision of how it would be performed live, but it does make some of the album a little flat in that area too. The live performance video of Painted imo worked better than just hearing it. Overall Wrong Victory is still my favorite. Others just blended in together on the 1st listen, probably because all the things mentioned. I'm totally disappointed.
