I see some people asking why people like this and not BB (mainly Arcadia). The IYLDWM similarities are undeniable and both Arcadia and Tunnel have an orchestra. My biggest thing is that they’re both pretty wordy songs but her delivery in Tunnel just flows so much better. Arcadia just sounds awkward to me at times, like the arteries line. I also think I just prefer the writing on Tunnel than IYLDWM. Tunnel seems a bit more complex and it seems like Lana is really mastering her craft in songwriting here

Ahhh that’s so exciting!! I’d say NorCal, specifically in the SF area near Ocean Beach or Crissy Fields, Sausalito/Marin County, Eureka/Arcata, or DNC (Crescent City). Walking on the beach when it’s cold and foggy is such a meditative and introspective I’d suggest Long Beach also since it’s where the title track is located, but I’m not the biggest fan of the area. There are a bunch of mountains/redwoods surrounding the SF area too if you prefer that! unsolicited sf beach pics <3 definitely amazing places to get high lol (I go to Ocean Beach at least like once a month and just listen to Venice Bitch and it’s amazing)

Oh yeah, it’s a beautiful song but I am hoping that’s it’s one of the weaker tracks on the album, it’s essentially a yassified IYLDWM (which I’m completely fine with). I do prefer it over IYLDWM and LMLYLAW to an extent though, it’s like a more fully realized version of them it sounds like a Hans Zimmer-ification of Lana’s past two albums

thankfully I just can't imagine an album filled with 'fuck me to death' and 'american whore' and everything else to be extremely Christian who knows with Lana though. She seems like a very 'cultural Christian' that appreciates mostly its aesthetics. I say this as a somewhat cultural Catholic that celebrates stuff like Day of the Dead and has Our Lady of Guadalupe stuff around my apartment even though I'm not Catholic at all but was raised as it. I'm hoping it's just like how some people said the spoken word intro of the NFR trailer was, which I can see tbh.
