Just want to say again how beautiful everything is this era. Covers and vinyls are just, yesssss. Minus the red lol. I love the cover but red is getting a little boring. I really cannot get over how beautiful the blue cover/yellow vinyl pairing is. Then the standard cover, just wow.

Late to the party but Arcadia is so beautiful. She really has crafted something very special here. Song and album both! Modern classic incoming. She keeps delivering, nobody does it like her. I just love how honest, personal, and real this record and it's release is shaping up to be. Does anyone else also find it interesting that the majority of the promo and images shared from her is the alt cover? I think that one is super special to her. Love finding out little things like that. Thankfully snagged it and the standard/white vinyl. Target needs to get with it and drop their pre order asap!

Not that I am aware of, besides the global release/time provided. That said the hottest record or whatever is supposed to be Sam Fender last I saw from someone in here. I'm like why the global release unless there is an interview or radio debut lol but I haven't seen anything leading me to believe that will happen. Beats possibly? But still no mentioning lol. Also we haven't had anything with them since that supposed videoed interview with her and Zane lol. Maybe they are doing it to drop the preorder all at once. Sorry I went off on tangent lol, side note I still want to know what happened with that Zane interview lol.

I agree that TNBAR is a more overhaul situation so to speak but alas reworking is a fine line. Everybody has their own things they take away from songs. Whether it is a certain sound, tone, instrument, or vocal delivery/flourish. Point is that one simple tweak can go in either direction and for me personally I am happy with the tracks as they are. Of course it would be interesting to have them freshened up and see how that adds further to the work as a whole but it isn't necessarily something I need or crave.

I think they are all shot by Neil, not necessarily confirmed but inferred.

This may be an unpopular opinion but I am not pressed about the leaked/unreleased tracks being reworked. I am just excited to see them in the context of the album and what they add to the narrative. It is so exciting honestly. I feel like she has so much emotion and enthusiasm for this record. It is nice to feel that energy and know this is a project that she is super passionate about. I missed that! Either way these specific songs were chosen for a reason. While I have heard each of them multiple times I am still eager to hear them again and see what they add to the album as a whole. Also while reworking can add to a track it can also take away the magic too. We know this all too well with poor BAR.

It is an overall vibe/atmosphere it creates. I love the raw/improvised feel to it. I feel like it is a very divisive track and very much an acquired taste. It just really feels like you can feel her mood. The song just kind of lingers and radiates in the air, it is palpable. I feel like it is some heavy sad girl shit that is easier to relate too if you've dealt with some darker/heavier shit in your life. Although that isn't a necessary requirement lol and doesn't mean you will like it if you have. It is all subjective after all. It just triggers a sense of nostalgia for me that I can't quite describe. I have been where she is in that song. While the feeling is dark and almost suffocating it is also very heady and hypnotizing. I def think it is a track you will either get or not, love or hate lol.

Now that we have heard Dealer I am curious what Ole Jack thought of it lol. I go back to her mentioning it in that interview with him lol. Obviously it didn't fit on Chemtrails lol but I am just curious what that whole conversation was like behind the scenes lol. If it was ever considered or not lol. If he talked her off the ledge or not lol. Just low key shit like that always interests me. We really need a Lana doc.

I think it is probably Lana who wants it out now instead of waiting. Honestly I am not anticipating physicals until the end of this year or into early next year. In saying that and knowing she is working on another project(s) she will probably want this out sooner rather than later. She tends to move on very quickly so waiting till then is prob less than ideal for her. I'm sure she is getting a hall pass to drop it digital first since Chemtrails sold so well and the possibility of other project(s) in the pipeline.

I really don't care about charts or performance myself but it is nice for your fave to get accolades lol. That said I think she already had a big release with Chemtrails this year so I think that frees things up a bit for her label wise. I know a lot of people are thinking that the physicals are coming out two weeks later per Boz's info but I take it as they moved up the digital release by two weeks and the physicals will be even longer. Who knows, may not have physicals by years end lol. I think it will be super interesting to see where the album "charts" with just the physicals alone. I def don't think we would be having this without the performance of Chemtrails earlier in the year. I'm curious if they will try to promote or push the digital only release in some way. Doubt it. Honestly they are still going to bank and chart. It will just be spread and come in more so at the back end. Either way I am just glad to get the album sooner. I really don't mind waiting for the physicals. The billboard rule is so ridiculous. I already have a headache over all the "flop" bs from the people who equate success with charts. Oh well lol! It will be what it will be.
