I pray she makes an album more similar to Born To Die to be honest. I like Ultraviolence but I like Born To Die more so there's one reason I want it but another is she will probably be given more money for promo, so the flashy videos will come back which I have missed so much from this era, and hopefully we will get TV/Radio promo too.

It was awesome!!! We made it to Atlanta, went to the Gold VIP Pre Show Party, then were escorted to the pit after we bought out merchandise, I got several shirts and the lighter. Lana came into the pit and she loved her bracelet. She gave me her autograph, and took my phone and snapped 2 pics of us!!! It was an amazing night!!!

Hey. Same to you, maybe we'll see you there. We made awesome friends in Dallas and still stay in touch! We're actually planning a trip to NY this Fall, and I invited them to Mardi Gras next Feb!!! Everyone should go to Mardi Gras at least once, or twice, or 10 times...Haha!!! Later!
And hey, if you have an extra copy, I'd LOVE one!!!! Please???

Here is the thing. They gave you the right information. They didn't lie to you but the wording is key here. You have VIP pit tickets [not Silver] and you have a Gold package. When they said, you could get early entry and you will be able to use your pit tickets - that is correct. HOWEVER, what they are not explaining to you is that you will receive early entry to the VENUE with your Gold. Once you are released from the Gold party, you do not have to use your seat. You will be allowed into the pit because you have a pit ticket. BUT...only Silver has early entry to the pit. It's all technical.
Your show is this weekend I think so you should be receiving your email from Live Nation soon. Call your host.
Honestly, in the end, you are in the pit...best seat in the house!!! Just enjoy yourself!!!

The sound checks at my venue were pretty early in the day. We could hear them from outside, but they were done before even the gold VIP people got in.
The gift bag itself was a black bag with the Endless Summer tour picture on it, and it said "Lana Del Rey" above. It also had, for lack of a better description, a roughly 3'x3' banner inside that also says "Lana Del Rey" and has the Endless Summer tour picture. I tried to take a picture and post it, but the forum won't let me. :-/
I'm not 100% sure about the timing for Gold VIP. Your best bet might be to start a new thread to see if anyone else here has done the Gold VIP to see what they did. I'd imagine that you could arrive around 4:00 and ask one of the security people where the Gold VIP people line up. Natalie will be around there somewhere and will make sure you get your wristband. Also, a couple of days before the show, you'll get an e-mail from Live Nation which will include Natalie's cell number. You can call or text her if you're unsure (but only the day of, as specified in the e-mail you'll get).

Only a little over a week to go! I'm starting to get really excited.
I have no idea what to wear though. I meant to buy a rose sweater like from the first BJ video but I waited so long that unless I pay $60 in shipping it won't get here in time, and even then it still might not.
Will anyone be going that isn't going to be in the pit/doesn't need to stand in line for 12 hours? I'd love to meet up with some fellow Lana fans!
And @@Elle and anyone else going, you were probably joking but I do have a few random AKA copies laying around from practicing making one - if you want one I can bring it and you can have it free. They are just taking up space on my CD shelf.

Us lucky southerners will get to see Lana at the tail-end of her tour, so hopefully IF she introduces new songs during the tour, as she did with UV, we will get the hear them. Not that I am banking on it. Last time she came to Atlanta outside of Music Midtown (that I sadly didn't go to) was on the rumored release date of UV, so I hoped something special would happen and I actually think she cut out a song that night so the opposite. Her best outfit was Atlanta imo.
Anyways, who all is going? I have a seat that is slightly to the left and right behind the VIP people. I'm quite excited even though I don't know what I'll be doing this summer so idk how close to Atlanta I'll actually be. Last time I didn't wait to meet her after the show, so if she stays after again I will be there this time. Seeing her last May was one of the highlights of my year, so I hope this show is just as good.

I'm confused. You have Silver and Gold VIP? If you are Gold, no need to camp out. You have seats. You will receive an email from VIP Nation with instructions on what to do and when to arrive. If you have Silver VIP, better camp out. Its been happening at every show. Gold early entry is for the party and crowd free shopping. Gold will not get to their seats before Silver. If you have regular pit tickets, you won't be let in to the venue till it opens for everyone. If you do early entry with Gold and try to use your regular pit tickets to get in, it won't work. Natalie your VIP host runs a tight ship. Gold has a different wristband than Silver. You wont get passed them. You will lose your spot in the pit if you leave. People will have camped out so you can bet that no one will let you back in. The pre show party is just food and music. Nothing big but its nice to have. The gift bag has a hankerchief, small poster, commemorative ticket and VIP lanyard. Honestly, the merch is cheaply made. I have seen her 5 times and had Gold and Silver and the Silver was worth it for the early entry alone. Have fun!!! @@mjsmith033 -

@ Looks beautiful! I think you will be able to get it to her intact, on the condition that you get a position on the barricade without having to fight anyone for it. Once you get there, you can hold it on the other side of the barricade by putting your arms over. Good luck, have fun!

Hi! None, really... same company. Live Nation is the name of the company, and VIP Nation is, I guess you could say, the "subunit" of Live Nation that works with the VIP ticket holders.

VIP Nation is just the VIP part of Live Nation. They are the same company but VIP Nation handles all of the packages. That is who you will deal with the day of the show.

@@kik They let the people who bought the Gold with pit tickets decide whether or not to keep that ticket, or trade it out with a seat. But since most of us bought the Gold ticket because it was the only VIP package with the pit (or at least it was during presale), we chose to keep the perks of Gold VIP with the pit. It definitely sucked for the Silver people who were waiting all day, but that was no reason to yell at the on-site hosts like some of them were doing. It was a mistake, and a fair amount of them were front row anyway. 'Twas a mess, but at least everyone got to see Lana up close and personal.

I agree with everything @ said.
One more thing, front is not always the best. If you are too far to the right or too far to the left, it's not worth it. Second row center is WAY better - mainly for the view and you still get a great chance when she comes down. On one side are the side stairs and depending on the space she says, she may not go passed those stairs. On the other side is a camera man and a big camera set up, she rarely goes passed that. Front row CENTER is what you are looking for. Off to the right or left a little is fine too. When you get to the pit, if the only front row spots open are too far left or right, my advice is to shoot for second row center. It will be more enjoyable. Just a thought! Good luck and have fun.

WOW! Congrats on raising your children and now doing things for yourself! Sounds like you deserved it. There is only one other person on here that I know of who is not under 30 years old like you [and me] so this is a rarity to find a LDR fan who is not under 30. Your situation sounds unique so who knows. They are correct - you will enter the VENUE before Silver. That part is true. But Silver will enter the PIT before you. Mainly because the VIP tickets you have don't have early entry to the pit and your Gold offers early entry to the venue, not the pit. I know it sounds confusing but trust me - I already went through all of this with them after 5 shows. Again, I have been going to concerts since 1984 and although I don't consider myself an expert or anything, I have been through enough situations to have learned.
As I said before, wait until you receive your email from VIP Nation and call your host to ask about this. You would rather get info early and not on the day of the show. Either way, you are gonna have the best time.
@@mjsmith033 Have fun and let us know all about your experience!!!!

@@mjsmith033 This is intersting. I am going to explain this but don't take my word for it. When you get your email from VIP Nation, call your host (probably Natalie) and verify this. So, here goes.
Those VIP pit tickets are offered by someone else. Chances are its from the venue. Those VIP tickets you have will offer incentives that they offer, not VIP Nation. I think you know this but your VIP tickets are not the same as Silver VIP.
You also have a Gold package and that offers early entry with a seat. Yes, you will enter the venue before Silver but they will escort you to the party and merch table. You will stay in there for a while. While that is happening, Silver VIP people will have a different wristband that is numbered and will be lined up by number and actually walked over to the pit in a single file to the pit by Natalie and security. After that, Gold will be sent to their seats.
I know they told you that you will be allowed into the pit and you will - that part is true. However they will will not let you line up with Silver for early entry. You will need a Silver package for that. You will be allowed into the pit after Silver is let in because you don't have Silver VIP, you have regular VIP.
Again, don't take my word for it. Call your host. Who knows, maybe you can sneak by but if its Natalie, she doesn't play games. Anyhow, good luck. Either way, you are gonna have the best time.

@@buster They let the Gokd VIP people with pit tickets in the pit first. Made the Silver VIP people really angry, but I mean it made sense. She came down and signed my hat and told me to keep it for good luck. It was a fantastic show.
Also, Courtney Love was something else. More of a comedian than any performer I've seen. She's still got it.

I'm going to post my story here too! I also got a photo with Lana and was front row in case you don't have time to read it.
So I got to the venue at like...1pm I guess, and I saw a long(ish) line. However, I recognized some people from the Seattle show. One girl Janet knew I had Silver and asked me to give Lana a book she made. Then a VIP Nation Employee, Natalie, came out with wristbands. I realized that for VIP I was #12! I thought I was at least 20-30 people back. We could hear Lana soundcheck Blue Jeans and Serial Killer, but that's all. Then they setup merch. There's no coke necklace anymore. I bought the lighter and the shirt that's printed allover, also please note the lighter doesn't have fuel! One girl in line broke her lighter trying to figure out how to use it.
At 4:00 Natalie lined us up. I got the VIP gift bag, and then some of my friends from school who also had silver showed up. They didn't get with me in line because we were numbered, but they were the last there and only numbers 33-34. I would really recommend the Silver package, everyone got barricade.
Then we walked into the venue and I saw that the steps were off to the right. I got a spot in front of the steps initially, but then I saw there wasn't enough room between the steps and the barricade so I moved down a bit. It ended up being the perfect spot!
Courtney was great. So funny and super interactive. She kept yelling at girls for wearing their flower crowns. She passed out flowers and shared cigarettes with the crowd. However she played a little too long, a manager even came onstage and asked her to leave.
The wait between Courtney and Lana was pretty short. I had made some art for Lana on a pretty large piece of paper that was hanging over the barricade. When she came out she waved right to me! I know that there's no way to know for sure but I could feel the eye contact.
She looked so good. Reminded me of Belle from Beauty and the Beast. Her energy was really happy and positive, it seemed like she was having such a good time! Then after Cola she came offstage. She stopped for a few people before me, and then she was taking a picture with the guy next to me (between the girls from school and I). Her hair was right in my face and I even got into his picture a little.
Then Lana turned around and I was like "Lana can I please give you my art?" I think she said something about liking it but I don't really remember. She handed it to the security who put it on the stage, and then I asked for a hug. I whispered in her ear asking that she read the letter, and she promised she would. Then I said "We took a Polaroid last year, can we take another one?" And she leaned in and we took the photo. I don't think the overall meeting Lana experience was as good as last time, she seemed more rushed, but she still was so sweet and genuinely seemed interested in meeting us.
Then she went back onstage and continued with the show. I will say the show was way too short. She didn't need to cut songs, she could've added songs. I know she will never play some of my favorites like TIWMUG, Florida Kilos, but I would've loved to hear FMWUTT, Old Money, Gods and Monsters, or Body Electric.
Her vocals were really spot on, I loved the stage setup so much. The lighting and visuals were a step up from the last tour. I still would've loved to see the original Paradise Tour setup, but this came pretty close in my opinion!
It took forever to get out of the venue and I didn't get home until like 2:45-3am, as I live 2:30 hours away. The show was so amazing though, and getting Silver VIP really paid off!

Hey you guys I just got back to my hotel from the show. I had silver VIP so I ended up being dead center front row like right in front of her microphone! I took so many pictures and videos, I'll have to post some tomorrow!!! I also got a selfie with Lana:)!!! So glad I flew from Alaska to see this show. Waited in line all day, it was so worth it! The venue workers were not the best, but overall I had a great time! It was my first time being up against a barricade and I was strong enough to hold my ground/spot and no one pushed me out of the way or got in front of me so that was good! But my back and legs are sore and the pit was definitely super uncomfortable! It was worth it though:). I'll try to remember to post pics tomorrow!

Wow... that's quite a deal! If that holds true, then you're in a pretty unique situation and you should get first entry into the Pit and get an ideal spot! (I'd suggest right at the bottom of the stairs where Lana comes down off the stage... best shot at a selfie!!) Good luck!

Wow!!!! Sounds amazing!!! I've been trying to find people with Gold packages to ask, but maybe you'll know some of the answers.
I'm going to the Atlanta concert June 14th, My friend and I already have VIP Pit tickets, but bought the Gold VIP Packages for early entry, plus the Silver is sold out, so Live Nation said we can still use our Pit tickets
We haven't been to a concert in years, except for the Dallas concert which didn't go as planned.
Can you give me any information on what to expect please?
Like, do we need to get there early? They said we will pick up the Gold VIP's at the venue.
What was included in the gift bag?
How soon do Gold enter the Lounge before Silver?
Do they let Gold enter the venue before Silver? (Like I said, we're still getting to use our Pit tickets even though we have assigned seats.) And if so, how soon?
If we have to use the restroom, will we be allowed back in our spots?
What was the preshow party like?
I apologize for so many questions...just really excited!!! And if you can think of anything I didn't ask, I appreciate any information.
Thanks in advance
PS: I loved your pics on Instagram!! I'm following you now LOL!!! I'll post pics of the Atlanta concert!!
