Sadly, I kind of agree with this. I love them individually and their friendship together is so cute but his instrumentals just don’t fit with her songs. It was perfect on Vulnicura when he came in towards the end and added smaller things, but imo it’s too disjointed on Utopia. I don’t mean to be a hater because I love Bjork and I love Arca, but I strongly feel that they can do much better than this.

I finally listened to the album in full and... I really hope it will grow on me. Arisen My Senses is such a misleading opener. It’s so incredible and bright and bombastic. And then the rest of the album is just.... meandering and all over the place imo. And what the heck happened with Losss? The beat only matches for 30 seconds out of the 7 minutes. But I’m sure it will grow on me because I already like it more than some of my first listens of her other albums.

I’ve only gotten to listen to Arisen My Senses, Utopia and Tabula Rasa because of business But I’m so in love already, especially with Arisen My Senses, what a song!

From the reactions I’ve read, this seems to be a very divisible album where most people either love or hate it. I still haven’t gotten a chance to listen but I’m hoping I will love it

I know it’s unrealistic and selfish but I wish she would release it early in the next couple days (like she did with the gate) so we can all just have HQ

I’m waiting for a better environment to listen in, but can someone post thoughts and reviews for me to live through vicariously? The 4um is not active enough for me. Edit: Are there any acapella moments? And are any of the tracks mostly instrumental?

I’m still not sure why she blocked me But she released two new singles, ‘Let Me’ and ‘The Creator’, for a new EP called Fabrica 15. Let Me is kinda boring to me, but The Creator really impressed me!

I haven’t explored his first couple albums much but these are the ones I liked most when I first heard Wildheart (+ the singles for his new album) - Coffee - waves - the valley - Flesh - Simple Things - Sky Walker (w Travis Scott) - Told You So

Astro has a comeback! Also, I’m really into Akdong Musician at the moment. Sadly, Chanhyuk left to serve in the marines just as I discovered their music.

she’s COMING

I think this album will be her most “soundscape-y” unfortunately, especially judging by The Gate. Although I don’t mind it most of the time, there are some songs (Dark Matter and Hollow) that are just too ramble-y for me :/
