its so they can keep that tiniest bit of exclusivity to themselves

its the fact that if UFB leaked a little earlier it would've def been on BB, like the leakers fumbled it

FINALLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY i knew it in my heart.. even an "almost" right is enough for me. My other theory is that he gained access to some sort of database where currently worked on stuff was being uploaded but could only play intro snippets of the things (maybe to avoid downloading and alerting them idk?!?!) so then he just screenrecorded those and thats why we have snippets of Love (Demo) stems and Something Real stuff lol, i mean both "lyric" snippets we got just so happened to be the first line of each song.. "You took the//It took thir-" and "look at you kids with your vintage music"
-
yes!! but we dont know if he did anything on it in the end.. there could exist a more final version w those strings that we wont get anytime soon.. i will forever be mad at lana for using demos for bb when she couldve easily given us the best versions for official release
-
crispin hunt.. it makes sense but i dont think anyone knows for sure, it could be also Lee Nadel and Rich Mercurio who did Hawaiian Tropic since Spin Me Round is just ... uhm a utopian version of that song

ive always felt like you and me is by rick nowels or emile tbh.. but im interested in knowing the truth

@BlackoutZone CARE TO CONFIRM MY THEORY ?!?!?! There is no version of 13 Beaches NOR Something Real (if that was ever even the title) that featured lyrics as "You took the-" like Eclipse says... I've rambled abt this theory sm in the past but I am hardset on my belief that he actually obtained stems that had only a certain number of seconds playing from the intro... Think about it - anytime he's mentioned Something Real, it's been only about the intro,,, showing the intro without the movie sample, saying it had horror strings (only the intro has really strong strings like that), etc.. NOW my belief is that, Eclipse heard "it took thir-" as we know thats how the song starts anyway.. he then mistook it as "You took the" and posted it as "You took the #SR" (Something Real) bc he was too giddy abt getting that (why would u post lyrics to something recorded literally the same day or week is beyond me) but yeah... it all makes so much sense when u put it together and I'm 100% believing it.

literally the day we find out the producer of My Best Days, I really think peace will come to earth in a second coming of christ situation

she used to sing heebiejeebies for the neighbors like a mad woman in heat

Crazy for You and California are by Rick one of life's many questions....
-
and yes Mads Louis Hauge and Phil Thornalley did Playing Dangerous and Bad Boy in the same session, which featured a very early version of the latter. The unknown song and rerecorded Bad Boy were done in the same session maybe a few days after
-
Ok I retract my statement on FD and DG being same session, well idk if you'd consider it same session still but - Fake Diamond was done on February 28th, 2011. Dreamgirl was done March 1st.. so a 2 day session basically (March 1st was the next day) (same producer, for Dreamgirl only vocals.) Playing Dangerous and Bad Boy were done sometime in August 2010 alongside another song I don't know much abt and a rerecording of Bad Boy.. these last two I never got access to unfortunately D: This is not pertaining to Lana, but Cherry Blossom and Nectar of the Gods were done May 5th alongside a Barrie cover of "Where Did You Sleep Last Night" by Nirvana.. Lana doesn't sing in this at all but she was there.

this is making me laugh.. i cant wait til they add ocean blvd
-
I think questions like this are broad in their subject... bc more versions, mixes, and demos exist of every song unless done in one take , never mastered, and all that .. probs just asking if anyone has them
-
Fake Diamond and Dreamgirl were produced in the same session, Fake Diamond's instrumental was done by a relatively unknown producer.. Dreamgirl used a pitched instrumental by someone i forgot the name of so basically im no help rn but yeah There was also a full folder of other beats but she chose Dreamgirl's instead...

LAST GIRL ON EARTH (Emile Haynie Version) YEP

Found the audio of the vine here! (very last one) It’s actually not live rock lmfao my memory tricked me, but still shows how old the song really is! https://soundcloud.com/cokamayne2/kalis-notable-vines
-
the song is from all the way back in 2013! there used to be a vine of her singing it in some garage looking place while someone plays the drums/piano, it was a lot more “live rock-y” ,, i place this Chris Braide version around 2014! She had posted a photo of her library w old songs (2013/2014) and there was one teasing a song w Chris Braide so i guess we know what it is now!

I was actually pretty "on the money" with this one.. but also not in some ways... It's fun to look back after getting a clearer idea of this situation!! MPG Demo is so much like what'd you expect the post-BTD sound to be like while still retaining its own UV characteristics.. a natural progression from 2011 to 2013
-
is it not the title track
-
cant say the same for you.

yes to heaven (1993 newspaper clippings uncovered by evilentity version)
