I hope this doesn’t come across as shady but is there a reason insiders are being so vague on the overall sound of the album? Is there a main instrumental pallet at use? Nobody has really described in a few descriptive words. Leads me to believe we’re in for a treat and y’all don’t want to ruin the surprise!

I’m seeing some… ironic posts. Yes, it can be annoying when people spam about wanting a certain type of sound from Lana. But often the complaint is that we are getting too much of the same. Because let’s be honest… soft piano ballads with muted drums beats and perhaps strings here and there is what has been the basis of her music for the last few years. Naturally, people get bored without variety. Luckily, it sounds like this album will offer some more intense dynamics than COTCC and BB

idc, hate me for saying it but her piano ballads are usually snoozes that I skip and have no natural desire to come back to. Beautiful is perhaps the worst offender on BB but I also skip Cherry Blossom, Sweet Carolina, VFR, Arcadia and Blue Banisters they’re boring sorry. Just MY opinion. Give me something with a pulse mother! I like the title track for Did You Know.. but I personally need the rest of the album to have more variety (louder drums, guitars, prominent bass, etc.)

I want to get into her but her history with fetishizing incest, child illness, deformities, and EDs make me very uncomfortable. Not sure what I'm asking for by posting this but has she ever spoke about/explained/apologized about any of this? Hoping she got the help she needed. I have been really obsessed with Lou lately and he is becoming one of my all time favorites. Always liked TVU but his solo work is incredible. Thinking about doing a deep dive analysis about how Lou’s “Jim” is the same as Lana’s. Has anyone else spoke about this before? It may be obvious but listening to Berlin (his concept album about fictional Jim and Caroline) it is very obvious that the themes of domestic violence, crime, depression and self destruction are intentionally echoed conceptually on Ultraviolence.

I will never understand the... demographic of Lana fan who want her to collaborate with people like Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, Halsey, Melanie, etc... like Lana is just of a way different caliber I'm sorry
