Any of her acapellas. Motel 6 is a masterpiece! And I love the Camen or Dangerous Girl acapellas but not many people talk about them. He voice is always so beautiful in them.
I actually really like them! When I first saw this I was like "that's going to look horrible" but they actually look really great! I think she looks great blond, but I don't know if she would g back any time soon..
The "1,2,3" part is the reason why I started wondering in the beginning, haha, but I do agree that I think she probably wrote the songs and preformed lots of them.
Thanks for replying, it was interesting hearing your thoughts
I have to say Yayo, I thought it was so perfect on No Kung Fu (it was so raw and beautiful) but on paradise I could barley listen to it, there was so much unnecessary vocalizing ("put my on to you black motorcycle" just sounded horrible!) I just feel like it sounded much better on earlier versions.
That is so interesting (I just spent like 20 minutes reading this whole thread!) I would looooove to hear all her stuff, it kills me that there's stuff out there that I haven't heard. I would probably pay to listen to her album if I didn't have to go all the way to the states.
Most other songs I've heard by her during that period had guitar, but it was usually much simpler and after listening to No Kung Fu a couple of times over, the guitar seems rather sophisticated? Did someone else play the guitar for these tracks?
