I think most likely if she were even to perform, The Greatest would be the most impactful song imo

Me too but can she sing it live? There's a lot of high notes on there.

I had to listen to the song again n I see what u mean. Don't wanna get all technical but I think she could pull it off, maybe alter the song structure a bit, I think bc it's breathy, but the transition from the pre-chorus to the chorus might b a bit taxing mm

The highest note she has to hit is a brief C5... This song would eventually be hard because of the phrasing, not because there are high notes

I'll do it for the right reasons

Lmao I’m reading some negative reviews on RateYourMusic and it’s so funny seeing people still get so caught up in their preconceived notions about Lana and her image rather than letting the music speak for itself.

I swear some of these people will not give her a break until she physically transforms into Joni Mitchell herself :rip:

Would have been really cool if Lana professionally recorded the US leg of the tour and released a live compilation of all her duets with the people who opened for her.

This is just so fucking good!!!!! Probably the most Lana sounding song I have EVER heard because it is not actually inspired by her or trying to sound like something she'd make at all, the artists just have really similar natural inclinations.

Every day I wake up and am depressed that "in your cock, in your cock, in your cockpit" was a fake lyric.

Goddesses don't speak in whispers. They scream.

I’m genuinely conflicted as to which version of ‘The Next Best American Record’ that I like best. Initially I hated that the lyrics were changed, but now I appreciate it just as much as the demo, but for different reasons...

I’ve said it time and time and time again, this album is such an experience.. one that I listen to almost every day and seem to never tire of.

Jack being the kind of person who dates Lena Dunham for six years was definitely reflected in the production of this record

Why didn't I think of writing that before...

so I went to a driving range the other day. this album's good for that too. the title track, n love song. htd? the calmer side of the record. the calm? wow wow wow wow.

I think, maybe w anyone else too? idk I guess I got paranoid bc of the tensions earlier this year. now a bio virus scare. it kinda makes me wanna hold tight to what's important to me. more importantly to what's left. The Greatest seems to mean so much more than just a love song. I think I'm Coachella'ing a little bit. but. does anyone kinda feel like the end of the world just keeps getting closer?

ah I might be overthinking again but. hm tldr; this record's great for listening to what feels like the ending of things. it's a nice friendly guide.
