I'm so in love this record, it's so good to feel that dreamy vibe of Honeymoon. It's deep, adventurous, sensual and tropical.
This is litteraly perfect for me. Even Let Me Love You sounds fine into it.

 how can you compare cocc with nfr at all ???? cocc is on a completely different level. I think you have to compare it to honeymoon.  Honeymoon is still her number 1, but I would say it's very close.

 

Honeymoon has two children: Lust for Life and COCC. If I had to take 3 albums with me to a desert island, it would be Honeymoon, LFL and COCC.

My husband was really looking forward to hearing Lana’s take on For Free and after I played it for him he said he liked it but whoever sang the second verse was the weakest of the three and I had to tell him that one was Lana

i'm not pressed at all. i actually always find it funny when people start hating on lana's prior record as soon as she releases a new one— it literally happens every time with every album. forgive me for expecting people to notice the pattern and factor their recency bias
