I'd probably do something quite similar to this, maybe just swap the order of Happy Loner with Pandora's Box. I'm honestly quite excited to listen to the album in this order! Happy Loner was not what I was expecting but I'm not disappointed either   guess it fits my current mood so

The demo for the title track I'm up for it, but VFT?? I-

It should've been title track & New America bc those two were the only ones that sounded interesting & had more noticeable (& good) changes. But well, at least's she's releasing the deluxe. Any release date yet?

More interesting song. The fact that the deluxe just adds more slow songs (which is the last thing this album needs) is very underwhelming to me. I’m excited for Pink Convertible but that’s it. I also really don’t care about demos being included in a deluxe, but that’s just me.

I like Happy Loner. That piano is Very classic Marina which I love. Lyrically it’s kinda weak tho but the emotion’s there.

I think the whole point of including demos on a deluxe edition would be to show how the songs evolved over time. Her including the homemade demos would be cool imo since she already teased them and so we don't have to live off snippets of those forever.

Whenever demos are announced, I feel they just make them, er, *listenable* or polished but keeping earlier lyrics / production. Besides Taylor Swift, I don't remember anyone putting a literal voice note in the album - and to be honest, I usually don't look forward to it.

But I think of, say, Florence + the Machine. They've released demos in their three first albums and they are studio produced, with full lyrics and production. They appear to be just previous versions, but not as early as a concept demo or a voice note or any of the sorts.

I loved the demo she posted on IG for Happy Loner - the full reworked song is underwhelming at first listen. Let's hope it grows on me.
