Ok I caved and feel like a shit person but I heard Fingertips and some of Sweet before I had to stop and tend to some business… but wow. Wordy. Dark. Almost sounds sort of like a musical, with those melodies…. It’s interesting. Definitely not like Blue Banisters so far. I can’t wait to hear the rest of it. Can’t seem to find The Grants but maybe that’s a good thing anyway. I’m hoping these are enough to keep me satiated until the record officially drops. Sorry, I’d write more but I’m super high and super tired.

There is no doubt in my mind, after hearing Fingertips, that Kintsugi and Fingertips were placed very intentionally next to each other on the tracklist.

Contrary to what others are saying, I think the only really non conventional track leaked right now are Fingertips (totally a Joanna Newsom winding ballad with very little repetition). The others have clear choruses at the very least. The Grants is very conventional apart from the intro.
