Agreed! All I'm saying, though, is that she could have just as easily released this track in April, and sth more commercial next week.

you can talk that up with elle, but we’ve never done that before so… im not sure. i’m sure at least 90% of people viewing this thread know to use spoilers when talking about the album.

it’s the asking for leaks, directing where to find leaks, and posting the actual leaks here that is the main concern, and i also feel like having two threads would make everything messy

I think a separate thread would be good but also It wouldn’t be a good look for Elle if she made a thread dedicated to the leak.. it’d give off the impression that she condones the leaks which could be bad for the site

The Grants doesn't even directly cover her family's issues, she doesn't mention anyone in her family (in Fingertips, for example, she mentions names)... The song is very cute and anyone could relate.

Actually The Grants does directly cover her family. She’s singing about her Uncle Dave who died while rock climbing the Rocky Mountains, she references him again in Fingertips. I think The Grants serve as a mission statement. Personally I think it would make a better album closer

If it leaks in full HQ I might listen. But I am not listening to anymore 30 second clips or something that sounds like it’s been recorded on a Nokia 3210 from 1999.
