I have the same issue with Harry as I had with Taylor pre-folklore, except even more; Harry has the potential to make a really really amazing album, many of his deep cuts are fucking great like Meet Me in the Hallway, Ever Since New York, Fine Line, Matilda, Little Freak, and more, but his singles are so commercial and so pandering and so soulless that they suck the life out of what would’ve been an amazing album. Taylor did exactly what she needed to do for a long time on folklore, she stopped crafting singles and made her best and most respected body of work. hopefully Harry will do that as well eventually because he’s definitely able to
