Actually I think it's one of the best covers ever, Trixie did an EXCELLENT job in both respecting the original nature of the song as well as adding some of her own vibe to it

I fully agree, she added so much personality to the song. It is absolutely gorgeous, it feels so cinematic and western while still staying true to the original

Also her other music slaps, if you're into country and country-pop stuff the One Bird/Two Stones sister records are amazing

The Grammys 2025 eligibility period ends on August 30th, so if she sticks to what she says (and let's be fr, she won't release it early) she'll be nominated for 2026 instead which is probably gonna have way lower competition
