How do you know that? Have you heard it? (I'm being serious, have you heard it?) Also everywhere I've read about that song (here, Reddit, Facebook, Discord, elsewhere), they've said it's about her.

regardless... i doubt that she would have anything negative or discriminatory to say about that, assuming that just seems odd to me, especially when we don't know with certainty that the song's even about ethel cain in the first place

 

this is the same woman who made a post celebrating the life of goddess bunny, a transgender drag queen, when she passed away, i don't think it makes any sense or is even appropriate to assume she's transphobic and would go as far as saying something like that in a song, especially when she knows that all of her stuff leaks

do you know how many ppl jack donoghue has fucked?? (he even made out with his dog.. and that's what was posted on fucking INSTAGRAM which is the most public social media outlet so i'm almost positive he has engaged in other unspeakable acts regarding that animal) (we also don't even know that he was in any sort of "official" relationship with ethel cain)  i honestly rly doubt he and lana spoke about ethel's gender in depth

the meme her husband posted is obviously fucked up but i wouldn't say it created a "firestorm".. at least among the general public. only ppl on lanaboards and diehard lana stans on twitter had loud thoughts about it. for her to publicly post about it or even implicitly mention it in an interview is the thing that would create a real firestorm. every single major gossip/pop news outlet would make it a headline.. i don't know why you are hurt by what any competent PR team would recommend she does   it's not like she personally said anything she has to address or apologize for

She’s lucky TMZ, People or any other major news outlet didn’t report it, I only found 2 articles regarding his views, one of them from Newsweek, but it’s the kind of article I guess that gets buried and not shared widely.
