one word Lana has been dropping a lot recently is "Perspective", whether in her Honeymoon IG account or in her acceptance speech at the Billboard Women in Music event. I thought "Perspective" would be a brilliant album title in this stage of Lana's career, and so I've been making really shitty fake track-lists and unofficial covers for this album.

there's one picture in particular from the marfa journal shoot that really caught my eye. it's really something, and i thought it would be perfect for an album cover. it fits in well with all the interscope LDR albums with the inclusion of a vehicle (lel) and also follows on very nicely with the HM cover with the shades and it has a similar but different idea, symbolising the continuation of the idea of celebrity, anonymity and fame, but now Lana is in the driving seat, and it's her who is very much in control. it would fit the mood of this album: darker, more insistent and less passive, shinier.

ok enough of me talking crap, here is the cover:



i also made a tracklist, sorry if it is really bad. the first track would be a short monologue about her finding her perspective. track 8 would be a reading of William Ernest Henley's poem Invictus, I think it's a really Lana-esque poem (shown below) and really sums up her struggles to be taken seriously in the industry. The final track would be a reading of the Lord's Prayer.
