Pink Champagne Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 The title is tragic. I hope she really serves with this album. That name sadly has killed it for me. 5 I don’t really wanna die, I just want the pain to be over
kitschesque Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 I still can't believe it's all happening. This is my dream Lana music, and it really came to life, I can't believe it, I love her so much They got their folk we got our psychedelic vibe all at once. I love u. We made it 7
softdecay Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 After listening to Venice Bitch I got a sorta prog rock vibe from it. Am I the only one who hopes the psychedelic era is finally arriving? 12
Icecream Icequeen Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 We still have 3-4 months between the album release and knowing her tendency to constantly mess with the mixing/tracklisting.. martyimscared.jpg She’s probably gonna scrap 1-2 of the tracks she has now in favor of 2-3 songs she wrote a week before the release because she just “couldn’t leave them off the record” lbr Watch her scrapping the song Norman Fucking Rockwell from the album without changing the name of the album 7
theviolence Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 Fuck I love everything about this album so far 6
UltraHeroin Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 After listening to Venice Bitch I got a sorta prog rock vibe from it. Am I the only one who hopes the psychedelic era is finally arriving? Have you seen my posts?? I'm motherfucking PUMPED for this 3 ~~~My body is stuck in the ocean My mind is lost in the universe***
Flowerbomb Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 I'm trying to warm to the title but I never even heard of Lana being a fan of Rockwell. If anything it would have made more sense for her to name this album Walt Fucking Whitman, so that's why it just feels a little random to me but nevertheless, it stands out. 4
Enco Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 Venice Bitch is THAT BITCH!!! probably the most experimental and creative song she has ever done 12
MJA Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 So is Venice Bitch the lead single? I'm so confused b/c she mentioned a stand alone song potentially for next month.
cherryblossoms Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 I'm trying to warm to the title but I never even heard of Lana being a fan of Rockwell. If anything it would have made more sense for her to name this album Walt Fucking Whitman, so that's why it just feels a little random to me but neverthless, it stands out. The concept of the title is tragic regardless but Walt Fucking Whitman does sound better 2
softdecay Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 Have you seen my posts?? I'm motherfucking PUMPED for this Well, 49 pages is kind of a long reading lol 2
nationalxanthem Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 this really is her father john misty era huh 5
annedauphine Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 Lmao @ the Charli thread being updated as fast as the three (3) threads about Lana's next record and book. This isn't shade I just find it funny 6
Gone user Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 Not people comparing UV to this Norman thingy. UV was powerful, while this era seems very lazy tbh... 7
jvcx Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 I can live with the name, honestly I don't think I'll be as excited for this album though. I'm only going through my second listen of Venice Bitch right now but after the first listen I thought it could be a couple/few minutes shorter, I like the psychedelic parts but... mmh. Might be a grower as I've started to like MAC more than in the beginning. 1
Dua Lipa Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 I thought she meant Norman Reedus at first 3
UltraHeroin Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 Well, 49 pages is kind of a long reading lol Sorry for answering like that, I'm just really excited ~~~My body is stuck in the ocean My mind is lost in the universe***
Terrence Loves Me Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 I adore the video. Wow. It's a literal masterpiece. 6
annedauphine Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 I've listened to VB 4 times today which means I already listened to Lana for 40mins lmao 15
theviolence Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 The highway part of the MV is so fucking alluring I love it 6
