But yeah the fact that we know an album is coming without all the fake dates and stuff from other eras will make the wait worth even if this year was a slow one

2018 and 2022 so far are tied for the driest. 2022 might be even drier because at least in 2018 we got two album tracks/singles and a handful of snippets. This year we’ve gotten 2 one-off songs and a 7 second snippet. Personally even though this year has been super dry I agree that not having the fake dates is very refreshing and a nice change of pace

first there is her official studio albums which includes aka but not paradise & violet which makes her upcoming album ldr9.

 

second there is her major label releases (the way lana counts them) which includes paradise & violet but not aka which makes her upcoming album ldr10. 

 

lastly there is the complete way which includes aka, paradise & violet which would make her upcoming album ldr11.

 

i see all these ways as valid but i usually tend to lean towards the way lana counts them just bc it is her art. but regardless of how you count her albums, we can all agree it is iconic that no one quite knows how to count them & it will probably continue to get even more confusing in the future. plus we all know ldr9/10/11/? is gonna be amazing so who really cares

there's a fourth way where albums are counted that are actually albums (by definition). it includes aka & violet (spoken word album) but not paradise which makes her upcoming album ldr10

I'm so curious to see their approach of LDR9s promo without her official accounts... I guess they'll just roll ads on social media or whatever but still 

I have hopes of them reopening the accounts even if they are just managed by her team

I really hope she’s over her “I don’t do promo“ phase and either activate her main account, or opens honeymoon. Because while social media ads are nice, I want more.

Not to mention her website still has multiple broken links right now and mislabeled stuff. Obviously that's not on Lana but whoever is in charge in upkeeping it. I keep checking it because I imagine the first 'promo' will be fixing the site in preparation for a new single/new album. We need another promo era as good as NFR

During the LFL era Lana sold jackets with BTD, Paradise, UV, HM, and LFL on them. This way we know she doesn’t count AKA, and she DOES see Paradise as it’s own album. So the only correct answer is LDR10 for the next album
