It’s BEAUTIFUL , I love strings so I was pleasantly surprised to hear it was reworked.  I don’t want to give any more details as I want everyone to be able to experience it.  If this is the overall sound of the album I’m in.

the way she started the song with luke who is a country artist who is the only other co-writer, that's when she shared that snippet which is a demo with only the guitar, the way she was like i'll just go to this guy for that country vibe but then go do my usual thing with my guys zach (who just got removed from the credits for some reason) and drew cause the homos will kill me if it's just a guitar twang... 

so obviously when she was uncertain about this album last year it was more stripped back and she brought in Zach and Drew for layers/instrumentation, she definitely heard the complaints and got the feedback, we all bullied her into not giving us a snoozefest, and thank god for that,

I think the song is very good production wise. The strings are beautiful and her vocals are so clear it’s hard to believe this is the same woman who released kintsugi.

I like the chorus a ton but something about the verses and bridge are kinda underwhelming and in the verses it seems like she’s fighting the melody 😭 

Anyways cute song and i’m sure the verses and bridge will grow on me by the time the album is out so i’m pretty happy with this release !
