to me it sounds like something from chemtrails but with more instruments (strings, piano, a harp!!! and I think I hear some bass but idk I'm terrible with identifying this ) , it's country-ish but no yee-haw country, it's gorgeous

For sure. I'm still not expecting this song to end up on Billboard 100 or anything. We just had Tough and the Abyss on there anyways, and SYTH not long before that. So we don't need a commercial success.

It reads as if Nectar of the Gods was recorded in a Honeymoon meets COTCC timeline to me. I don’t especially love the mixing, I prefer my Lana instrumentals a little more cavernous and haunting. This is very “clean” sounding, but it’s also not rich enough to transport me. Love the lyrics of the chorus. Despite my lukewarm response, I am looking more forward to the album now.
