im gonna get clocked but why some parts of this song remind me of wrecking ball by Miley 😭

Probably because "last call, hey y'all" has the same melody as "we clawed, we chained our hearts in vain" :silly:

Hmmm. A lot of OB was pretty dark and forlorn. Fuck me to death, American whore, I'll take x and x with me when I die... The string orchestra is the only resemblance really, and similar in production. But she's used strings during Born to Die, Paradise, Gatsby, too, so I wouldn't call OB her 'string era'. Especially since strings only feature on a handful of songs.

More importantly, Henry is a much lighter, uplifting song. It's more in the vein of Chemtrails due to its acoustic guitar/folksy vibes or even Love/LFL era.

Maybe we're getting the Chemtrails/LFL combo I was dreaming about. If Tough and/or Mirror are on there, that'll be the confirmation I need. Bring on the tracklist, Lana!

I agree with you kinda sorta lol. When I was talking about it sounding like countrified Ocean Blvd I specifically

meant the production of the title track.  I know Lana used a lot of strings in her earlier eras but I think Drew Ericksons string production is completelyyyyy different than Dan Heaths. Personally i'm not a huge fan of Drew Ericksons strings as they sound kind of cheap compared to Lanas old stuff.

honestly it's fair since there's a part in wrecking ball that has the same melody as a part in I Talk to Jesus :crai: it's the "I never meant to start a war" and "I never meant to hurt you baby"

I need to fast forward to midnight, people's reactions are making me sooooo hyped

Yes this! I feel like I'm gonna be doing hourly check-ins every time it releases in a new time zone because I just love reading everyone's thoughts and reactions!

it's kinda weird for me seeing all these positive comments especially after when i joined to this site i saw many comments about Lana's confusing and questionable decisions:urmomcalled:

The thing about miss del Rey is that the music will always transcend her questionable politics and life choices :mj:
