I’m not sure if anyone else has mentioned it, but even though the arrangements are gorgeous and elevate the song, it kinda feels like they were added later over a more intimate demo vocal, and you can kind of tell. Love your user name. I agree that all of the instrumentals were added later. I can't hear a word she's saying on the chorus, and that's a major tell. Even on the bridge when she says 'settle down type', it's two quiet. As for which track is better, I couldn't possibly choose between this or OB. .They're both on the same level - it's just that one is very light, and the other one is dark. 2 Quote

audreysdance Posted Friday at 09:35 AM Posted Friday at 09:35 AM WOW WOW WOW. I'm in love. I didn't expect this to be so good, especially after the few things the insiders said...but it's gorgeous, a mix of orchestra and folk influence, and all the wait was worth this 19 Quote
Southern GOTHIC Posted Friday at 09:38 AM Posted Friday at 09:38 AM It's really giving honeymoon (the album) i'm obsessed 18 Quote
barttttender Posted Friday at 09:45 AM Posted Friday at 09:45 AM Reaction on X seems mostly positive. A lot of raves. Some are complaining it's boring. (Now we know where all those Tough streams are coming from (it just outstreamed Carmen on Spotify)) But who cares. The song is breaking streaming records in my house. 15 Quote

TILAAPPLEWOOD Posted Friday at 10:34 AM Posted Friday at 10:34 AM First of all, I'm in love with this song OMGGGGGGGG!!!! But it's kinda sad Jack Antonoff didn't participate in this track. It's fantastic, though, and I would love to see him produce some songs on the album. Does anybody know anything about that????? 0 Quote

Venice Jesus Whore Posted Friday at 10:51 AM Posted Friday at 10:51 AM It’s gorgeous, of course, but I hope the whole album isn’t like this. I loved Ocean Blvd, but I was really hoping for a bigger departure from the Chemtrails/BB/Blvd sound. 3 Quote It’s not about having someone to love me anymore This is the experience of being an American whore
FredRed Posted Friday at 10:53 AM Posted Friday at 10:53 AM Here is a simple lyric video someone made. Hope it's OK to post. 4 Quote
MJA Posted Friday at 11:19 AM Posted Friday at 11:19 AM It’s absolutely better than I thought it would be. I’ve said before but I never find Lana’s “first singles” to be the bigger, more played, more remembered songs of her album. It’s almost always the single right before release. 2 Quote
Gothicula Posted Friday at 11:20 AM Posted Friday at 11:20 AM Why has this release been kinda quiet in the fandom? I think it's because most people like it/are neutral, you don't really have what to hate about it 0 Quote
Divisive Princess Posted Friday at 11:28 AM Posted Friday at 11:28 AM I really don't undestand why people think this sounds like anything from her last 3 albums 6 Quote
