i hope we get more songs with this type of shimmery twangy guitar on the album 

 

im not a jack hater but it is nice to hear guitars that don’t sound like they were recorded underwater

I am still shook at the soft leather, blue jeans mention  I Don't Wanna Go is one of my favorite unreleased songs and I love Lake Placid as well , it really felt like I shifted timelines when I noticed she referenced it 

Henry is a fantastic song and this reference makes it even a bit more special for me

My top 5 favorite things about Henry

 

- The piano and guitar kicking in on the first verse at “I mean baby come on”

- And it’s not because of you… (that whole moment and the chorus)

- “ Dontevenbother explain’ “ (her voice is golden here)

- The bridge. Short, sweet, and incredible. All these couuntry singers… (slight pause) …and their lonely rides to Houston…

- Basically the whole song (Very good)

 

Special mention: “they just fly away” heartbreaking.
