im so excited at the possibility of ACT II finally seeing the light of day

more so now since Interscope retweeted Gaga's tweets from earlier today

and ARTPOP recharting is making headlines everywhere

Artpop finally receiving the spotlights as it should ❤ this album was really ahead of its time. I miss this Gaga and I really hope we could get something cool soon related to it. I've always loved this album since day 1 and tbh to this date I still cant understand why nobody enjoyed this album at all (however at gay clubs specially during that time everybody would sing every single song the dj played)

i'm kinda still so shocked she's talked about it again.

i hope Zedd will let her release Temple + Onion Girl honestly, although it was heavily rumored he used the productions for True Colors. he's liked her tweets anyway so i hope so. from all the documents that leaked it's so fxcking annoying that Temple was done and paid for and on the album, then last minute switch and it was gone.

yeah nothing is going to come from this but the thought is nice. maybe something will leak but there's 0% chance of artpop act 2 coming any time soon

Regardless of my thoughts on the album (very bad) hopefully this sparks some creative upheaval in her. Pretty weird to see her break fourth wall and acknowledge her music in a sincere way. Early tracks pre-The Fame are still so fucking good and aged better than a lot of released tracks. Rock Show, Oh Well, Let Love Down etc. will always have a place in my heart. I found on the writing on Chromatica really strong actually I  just can't tolerate the fake theatrical voice she slips into a lot.

I never connected with Princess Die or I Wanna Be With You (Dope demo [I don't really listen to Dope either, maybe last time was like 5 years ago ]), I find them a bit too forced, I don't know how to explain it

I think what made me really appreciate these songs is learning that theyre actually not about a love interest, but rather a message projected to her fans. She also wrote them after her management abandoned her and she wanted to let her fans know she wasn't going to give up!! Its the same way Love by LDR is like a loveletter to the fans!! But way more raw

I'm gonna say it: "Artpop" had some great music (although some tracks were too lackluster for my taste) but veeeery few of them would have had any impact on the radio. Which, granted, is not necessarily the goal here. But I keep reading on YouTube how this track or this track would have been a hit and there's not a chance that would have happened, even with heavy promotion. Mind you, I love a lot of the choruses and such but I feel like only fans and music afficionados can enjoy it, not the grand public. Gypsy could have been an OK formatted single. 



I did listen to it yesterday again and still really enjoy Aura, Venus, Artpop, MANiCURE. Donatella, Mary Jane Holland and Applause are cute and so is Gypsy.

besides the whole Joanne / Original RedOne LG5 mess, I don't think so.

 

I think she also may have written the title track for ARTPOP after the title was already an idea she had settled on
