Death Grips is an experimental hip hop group from Sacramento, California, formed in 2010. The group consists of vocalist Stefan "MC Ride" Burnett and production from Zach Hill and Andy "Flatlander" Morin. Death Grips live performance setup consists of Burnett on vocals, Hill on drums, and Andy Morin on keyboards/sampler.

The band's music has been described as combining punk rock, hip hop and noise. They released the mixtape Exmilitary in April 2011, and in 2012 they released two studio albums, The Money Store in April and No Love Deep Web in October. Their releases have received acclaim from music critics, including the former placing 9th in Pitchfork's Best 50 Albums of 2012.

Zach is part of a new band called DRUMGASM which consists of him and two other drummers: Janet Weiss (Sleater-Kinney, Quasi, Wild Flag) and Matt Cameron (Skin Yard, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden). Their debut album is going to be released on August 27 and is available for pre-oder.

So far I don't think it's as good as bottomless pit, but I'm gonna give it more time tbh

Only on my second or third listen but I’m not sure how to feel yet

I definitely like it but I think I do prefer the more clean-sounding production on BP (and of course I loved those Bjork samples too )

But I’m loving the variety on this album

I think it's a grower of an album tbh. I actually started listening to Exmilitary again and omg... they've come so far as a band and developed their sound so much
