Criminal is a basic bitch ballad. Like at the end of FF the producers were like "well ppl usually close with a ballad right lol so let's throw a generic one together in 5 minutes, and make it sound nothing like the rest of the album" Work Bitch is basic as fuck compared to her actual god-sent singles. Like, can you REALLY call WB a god-sent single when singles like Gimme More, Piece of Me, Baby One More Time, Toxic, HIAM, Womanizer, Me Against the Music, Slave 4 U, etc. exist?? No you can't tbh.

When you put it that way, it does seem a little ridiculous that we expect that from artists.. but I dunno. Like, I feel like if I made music and collaborated with a bunch of different people, I'd want to make sure I had a copy of all the songs I'd worked on with all the different people, just as a way of remembering it all. Like a photo album, but of the music I've made.
