I kinda get where you’re coming from, but to me personally it’s a little annoying for an artist to release a 3-4 track EP when they’re so prolific that they have dozens upon dozens of great songs sitting around unreleased. I’d be cool with a 5-7 song EP if it has to be an EP. but I’m more than happy to just wait for another full length album!

Mykki’s verse on femmebot is the biggest cringefest I’ve ever heard. Cramming 100 dumb references in 30 seconds is not that cute & doesn’t fit the vibe of the first 2 verses at all. The taste level is nonexistent. I’m normally not the type to complain about features, but that verse truly ruins the song for me.

Shabrang is such a beautiful record!!! I think in terms of consistency, it’s a better album than ISON. But I think ISON has some higher highs & lower lows, so I don’t really know which is the better album. I was worried after The Calling because that EP was kinda dull tbh. She seemed stuck on that portishead percussion for a hot minute, but the sonic direction she chose for Shabrang is refreshing & totally makes sense for her career. I love it.
